I know, the NBA is a joke. The Cavs just won the series, by the way. It's all over. Refs won't let the Magic win.

i'd recommend the magic double lebron right now, but since everyone is making shots, the magic have no choice.

gortat never gets set before he commits a screen. that's called an illegal screen refs, then on top of that he pused wally in the back afterwards.

Yeah, Joe Smith and Ben Wallace do it, too. They don't call that anymore.

fans shouldn't be allowed so close to the court and they should not be allowed within 10 feet, at a minimum, of the bench.

so i think lebron has some skills. 37 points, 15 rebounds, 12 assists. 15/19 from the FT. scoring or assisting on 32 straight points? that is insane. talk about stepping it up in the clutch.

He has the skills and gets all the calls, so no wonder he's a "beast".

And the way Rafer played tonight solidifies the fact that, with Jameer, this Magic team would be waiting for the West winner for the Finals. Rafer and Rashard cost the Magic the game tonight.

ESPN post-game analysis...

John Anderson asks a question about the Magic and their resilience...

Jalen Rose says in reply to the question "This game was all about LeBron James".

Why am I even rooting for the Magic? It's clear what's going to happen. "The Chosen One" is going to get every call he needs ("Clear Path Foul when Rafer was in front of him? Please...) on his was to play Kobe in the Finals...

you say lebron gets all the calls, dwight howard took more FT attempts per game and per 48 than lebron did this season. so does that mean dwight howard gets all the calls and then some?

You've mentioned that twice. One time and I'll shrug it off as a person complaining because it's his team. Twice and I'm gonna refute it. There was a clear path had James gotten past Rafer. When the foul was called, James was in the process of getting past Rafer meaning he had a clear path. He hadn't gotten past him yet, but had Rafer not fouled him, he easily would have.

It's like in soccer when there's one man going to the goal with one defender to beat. While he was going around the defender, the defender fouls him. That's why the defender gets a red card. That's why there was the foul called tonight.

Jay-z and King James giving the Millionaire's Club handshake and salute. That is pretty impressive considering Jay only does that with about 3 other people in this world. Not that anyone on here cares.

Comparing the Regular Season to the Playoffs using stupid stats. Funny.

First of all, putting Howard on the line benefits the OTHER TEAM, NOT THE MAGIC. It's like Hack-a-Shaq. And he doesn't play as many minutes per game due to foul issues, so "per 48" only skews that more.

Second of all, when all of LeFraud's crap calls come on drives where he TRAVELS and CHARGES INTO the BEST PLAYER ON THE MAGIC, and gets the call EVERY TIME, that's more of an impact than when D12 gets mugged (and why don't they ever call an intentional or flagrant on the muggings he gets with the ball under the basket?).

No, he was getting past Rafer cuz Rafer was reaching in to FOUL him.

Don't compare this to soccer, since it's not the same. Clear Path fouls are

Clear Path to the Basket: If a fast break starts in a team’s backcourt and a defender fouls any offensive player when the team is going to score an easy basket, a clear path foul has occurred. When the foul happens, no defender can be ahead of the ball where he could defend against the easy basket.
From NBA.com

Rafer was ahead of the ball, in position to defend against the easy basket. It's not an issue of "Well, LeFraud is fast enough to get by him". Rafer had position at the time of the foul. LeFraud did NOT have a clear path.

NO DEFENDER can be ahead of the ball. Rafer was. It was a terrible call.

That's a stupid wording for a foul. I just assumed it was the same as college and soccer (whether you say it's the same sport or not, it's the same concept).
