This is a 2 fold question - I have a trip in 2 weeks and need a rental- who would you recommend from Lynchburg? Right now I have a reservation with Avis.

The reason I need a rental - I took my car to get inspected today and it is going to be $625. I know the shop and are good people but seem high. Ane place in Lynchburg you guys recommend for car repair?

The university uses Enterprise for a lot of its rentals. They have unlimited mileage, great prices, and they may even give you an LU discount.

Get your car inspected at Lack's on Waterlick. They're honest, but they let most cars pass.

I looked at Enterprise and they mileage is limited to NC, VA, DC, MD - I am headed toward Buffalo

if you need it fixed then Forest Auto is the best in the Biz. I've taken my car to them twice where I was told it could cost from $800-$1000 each time. The bill the first time I picked it up was $35 (turned out not much was wrong just needed adjusting) and the second time was less than $100. They could have taken me for a ride each time but they are honest people.
