Not sure but I think it has something to do with skinny jeans.

I rather not put it in writing. But reading this thread can shed a lot of light.

That’s an excellent question. He doesn’t believe that Junior did anything wrong and the mountain of evidence are all lies. But Nasser, he’s ready to run out of town on a rail, and for what?

So you don’t have any reason. Your double standards know no bounds

unfortunately you have a track record of stating an opinion but skirting around the reason who have said opinion. I have a few ideas but would like you to defend your opinions. Even if we agree that Nasser isn't a good fit.

That’s not an answer. That’s a cop out. That’s a gutless response for such a visceral reaction to someone you post negatively about.

I am quite sure I know why ballcoach thinks Nasser should be showed the door and he is right. Sometimes, confidentially is important and not naming names is a prudent thing.
Ballcoach is older than most here and is opinionated. He is not perfect, none of us are, but I don't think he says anything that he knows is false. I don't agree with him on a lot of things, but he takes his beating here, with more class than most of those who constantly attack him.

It’s easy to take a beating on here when you literally post things with the expectation of getting said beating. He knows what he’s doing. In the case of getting rid of Nasser I happen to agree but let’s not sit here and make excuses for someone who blatantly posts absurd takes for the reaction he gets out of people. He has every right to be here and speak his mind and people who don’t like what he says have every right to challenge him on it. Don’t sit here and give him a pass because he’s over 40. No one else here gets that pass.

Wonder if he is going to charge them? I know of a local Lynchburg pastor, who called him about speaking at his church. The moron wanted to charge them $3500 to speak there one time. The pastor was smart enough to say, no thanks, we don't need you.
Unfortunately, him speaking at TRBC, may be a sign I didn't want to see. 100% con man from where I sit. IMHO.

It isn't uncommon for preachers to charge a fee of some sort but 3500 for a local speaking engagement seems extremely slimy to me.

I have a different take on this one. If $3500 is his regular speaking fee (which is reasonable given the prestige of his position), then discounting locally could open the gates for other local churches to expect a discount too. If he’s using a booking agency, he might not have much wiggle room with their fees as well. As with most things compensation, there’s so much unknown from the outside that it’s hard to make a fair judgment.

I disagree and I know for a fact that my pastor in DC regularly speaks in the DC metro area free of charge because building up local churches is important.

This pastor is a best selling author and probably could get away with doing that but doesn't.

Good relationships with local churches is important and sfuff like this is alienating.

Bingo. With the $$ Nasser makes, he should have it in his contract to speak free of charge for local churches a set number of times a year.

There was no booking agency involved in this one, 100%. Prestige of position, may be a reasonable argument, but the prestige of the person negates that 10X. Besides, no one in his position is worth 400K. It is kinda like paying a janitor 200K a year to sweep floors. No disrespect intended to janitors.

I'm not sure I am against the salary but if you're getting that salary the expectations are going be extremely high and I'm fairly confident Nasser does not meet those high expectations.
