You love to post without actual facts or context Try to do better.

If you don't believe me, research it. They always seem to open at home against FCS schools.
You made the claim you provide the evidence. Then provide the context with the scheduling from other schools. You’ve already proven your claims are dubious at best. A smidge of critical thought though would do wonders for trying to establish any credibility

David M. Hale is on a crusade against Liberty's testing on his Twitter account. Blogger covering Syracuse doing the same.

Apparently, this is the protocol:

“all nonconference opponents must meet the medical protocol requirements as agreed upon by the ACC.” The medical protocol requires that all team members “must be tested each week beginning with the week of the first competition against an opposing team.”

This says nothing about what our testing procedures should be during training. As long as we test weekly, starting before the first game, which hopefully will be be 9/12, we will be in compliance. Does anyone think for a minute we won't?

Also, we are getting new testing equipment soon so that will also help speed things up and make it easier to remain compliant. If you read or listen to the press conferences over on the A Sea of Red home page, it has been mentioned.

Liberty wouldn't of gotten those games if they hadn't agreed to be compliant.

This Hale guy is a clown. Having said that - we need to get in front of this and communicate to the ACC / media that we aren’t a small school and can offer the same protocols that the ACC can. I am sick and tired of people thinking we’re a small school.

I was about ready to post the same thing. This article has Twitter on fire - with everyone saying that Liberty isn’t compliant. But, if you actually read the article, it sure sounds like The dictated ACC protocol doesn’t start until 9/12. It’s crazy how anxious folks are to point fingers.

The only thing troubling to me in that article is what the Syracuse AD said, which as far as I can tell was based on ignorance. I suspect he has gotten a PC from Ian to clarify things.

Communicating directly to athletic directors is fine, but we should also say something to Hale and Dan Wolken and everybody else. This is of course extremely damaging to our brand, and aspirations and so forth. Need to push back hard, and communicate directly to the media. Can’t have people out there thinking this is truth.

In the same press conference everyone is getting worked up about, Freeze also said the team will be testing every Wednesday during the season which is the ACC requirement.

That's a 2 way street, and frankly, I don't think it's our responsibility to reach out to them individually and "educate" them. If they are "journalists" they should be the ones contacting us, and as far as I can see they have not. You are correct about the possibility of misinformation damaging our brand, and if that happens, as much as I personally dislike it, we might need to litigate. Where's JR when we need him?

I could talk to Dan and Hale on Twitter right now. But I don’t have the authority nor the voice. Have we contacted them to clarify our policies and procedures? Have we contacted them to let them know that we are following all of the ACC guidelines? It’s pretty simple really, we just have to want to do it.

Since so many people seem to have their panties in a bunch, I would hope that when our equipment arrives, we can start that protocol right away rather than wait.

I feel Syracuse, more than anyone else, and their writers, are on a crusade to get games with Liberty canceled or to destroy our football team.

Some of this was brought on by comments made by Jr long before any of this but it is important to get a story right, and clearly this story is being told in a way to get more clicks.

It'll blow over and be fine but just in case, a statement from the athletic department spelling out what we are doing to remain compliant with the ACC standards may be helpful.

You should. Syracuse has 2 million reasons not to cancel this game. LU has 1.1 million to do what needs to be done to play the game.

Here is what I replied to Hale's tweet/article.

Your own article says that ACC protocols don't require testing til the week prior to the first game. So what is "troubling"? If Syracuse, or any other school, decides that what the ACC requires is insufficient, they need to communicate that directly, not through the media.

The SI.com article about NC State and the opinion that they and others should cancel the game against LU because of LU's lack of testing. I have a hard time believing HCHF and company are not doing what is needed to be done for ACC protocol in order to play games. Media will spin it as they want and twitter has always been a cesspool of verbal venom towards many people.
