Liberty will have to adopt ACC Covid-19 protocols (or more stringent) to play ACC schools. I think that is what is holding this back.

It should not be a problem to enter NY. You can come in for 24 hours without a quarantine.

I don't think the ACC testing standards will be a problem for Liberty, nor do I think that is what is holding this up. I think it's simply the ACC schedule ,and for us, what are the MAC (Bowling Green), Sun Belt (ULM), and the Southern Conference (WCU) are all going to do.

Why would our other non ACC games be an issue - Syracuse is on the books with a firm date -ACC commish already said will integrate ACC schedule based on the plus 1 games. Rescheduling VT if they want us should be a simple move to week 2 For both of us and IF NC State wants us - the Already scheduled date shouldn’t be an issue.

I hadn’t heard that the ACC Commish had said that about scheduling. As for as the other schools, I’ve read that the Belt is doing 10 conference only games and I’ve read that they’re doing what CUSA is doing. I’ve heard nothing about the MAC and the Southern Conference.

If what you said about the ACC is true, we may only have to worry about Bowling Green and WCU.

Someone on Paul Finebaum show said that the reason SEC is only doing a conference schedule is to get back at ACC for adding Notre Dame to the conference. They're making sure no SEC school plays ACC school this season.
To me, that makes good sense. It's time someone stands up to ACC and their love for ND.

Why would anyone involved with the SEC care that the ACC has an arrangement with ND? The only reason I can think of is jealousy.

Yes, that was the EFFECT of the decision. What you are suggesting is that it was the REASON for the decision, as a punishment to the ACC for their sinful alliance with ND. Big difference.

That's basically what the individual said on the Finebaum show, I believe he used the term, "screw you ACC", when talking about it.
Big 10, Big 12, PAC 12 and SEC should all take shots at ACC/Notre Dame love affair, whenever the opportunity arises.
