Watching him vs Liberty on the net was interesting. He is a force in the BS. Makes other teams adjust. He plays only 2-3 minutes at a time. One shot he made looked like he volleyballed it in.

He's broken both knee caps, his ankles are bad, and a few other things. He just can't get into shape no matter how hard he tries.

Hi guys. ORU fan here. I've been checking back from time to time since our game with you, and I'm sorry to hear that your season hasn't been going as well as hoped. I read through some of the posts about your coach - sorry to hear he's on the hot-seat. Coaching has got to be one of the toughest jobs on earth - one day you're on top of the world, the next your the goat. Anyway, I'm sure things will work out for you.

I thought you might get a kick out of this pic of Kenny George. It was posted on the Valpariaso University message board - they recruited him briefly several years ago, but ended up getting a different guy. This shows Kenny George with his high school team. Please forgive me if you've seen it before, but I didn't see it on this thread.

I was able to see him monday night, and while yes, he is very, very slow, he changes the game when he's in there. Asheville goes to a zone and just blankets the outside, and if you penetrate in, he is able to block anything in the lane. When he is in, you have to run and beat him down the court for a shot, or you better be ready to shoot a 3. He covers the entire lane.

The article stated that he was 7'6 before the season and now is 7'7, which bears this question: He's still growing? And shouldn't someone go in and literally stop him from growing anymore? He has to be getting near (if not already there) a threshold where he's going to be in some life threatening situations. Can a heart sustain that for very long?

If you're talking skill and speed, yes, he is very bad. But at that height he's going to make a difference in any game he plays. Defensively, Asheville is much better with him on the court. He takes away virtually any post game. If he could play even 20 minutes, I think Asheville would win more games.
