A terrible follow-up to last season but perhaps something to build on with a big victory over Coastal. I'm not sad to see this campaign come to an end.

I'm gonna be an old hag for a moment:

Nothing will beat when we rushed the field in 07 vs Elon. I was hanging over the railing for the last minute. The ball was downed with 20 seconds to go and I realized they could stop the clock. I jumped down and everyone followed. We ran towards the goal post by the visitor's locker room. One cop was standing in front of it and put his hand out as if to say, "No!" Without even thinking, we all turned and ran towards midfield and mobbed the players.

I was impressed with our defense more than anything. In the second half, with the exception of that long pass play, they were "lights out"

It was a hateful comment. In the moment and context, it looked like we had just given the game away and sealed another loss. He redeemed himself the next play and I gave him credit for it.

Haha. That's what it felt like. Especially since it was this year's team. Last year's team I would've expected to pull it off and comeback. This year's team I didn't.

The nice thing is our guys had more faith in themselves than we did (judging by the score prediction thread) and went out there and won the game.

Good riddance to bad rubbish (even though we do play them next year and it counts toward our Big South record)
