forbidden wrote:Game was crazy refs was def trying to throw the game, the worst call was what should of been a 10 sec runoff and unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, when number 73 took his helmet offThey did do a 10 second runoff. The problem was the clock operator stopped the clock well before the whistle. The 10 second runoff should have ended the game.

forbidden wrote:I saw what looked like 8 sec on the clock and they snapped ball down to like five seconds when that happened, but I was yelling that the whole time I knew that should have ended game without the pressure to block a kick15 seconds on the clock. Clock stopped despite the refs not blowing the whistle for a good 6-7 seconds more (that's why Gill was going nuts on the refs). 10 second runoff to 5 seconds left. Snapped and spiked with 3.6 seconds left. FG blocked and the hometown clock operator doesn't get to steal a game from us.

Good game by you guys. The refs were pretty shoddy going both ways. I think both teams got away with a few PIs that were not called.
Masha is pretty rough throwing the ball, especially on deep passes, but that will improve and he will be a solid QB.
Our kicker has a great leg....distance wise. Too bad he sprays it like a god dang garden hose. I have no idea why he was even in today. I told the guys I was sitting next to that Ryan Granger should be in in this game and we all saw how awesome Alex Catron is.....![]()
Anyways, good game, congrats, and good luck in the playoffs.
NotAJerry wrote:That happened twice actually. I could be wrong but I didn't think the clock was supposed to stop when a player got stopped and stood up. You are always good people, Bob. Wish we had you drop by more often.
I can't speak for others, but I hope you guys do exceptionally well in the playoffs. I'd love nothing more than a rematch here in Texas.

I understand it, and know the rule, but unless the guy blatantly removes his helmet, I'm obviously not a fan of it.NotAJerry wrote:That happened twice actually. The clock basically stopped once the run was whistled dead on forward progress despite the refs not signaling for it and nobody calling a timeout.
