Seriously though. WHO CARES. We lost. Our staff might stink. Our players might stink. Our game plan might have stunk. This bathroom I am occupying definitely stinks.

Every 2 years we talk about hiring Chuck South's Head Intern. Surely CSU can't pay their coaches, right?

Hopefully PH adopts responding to all Danny Rocco references with Ken Karcher.

Different situation. More accurate would be Morgan Haute

I've been wearing my Beat Coastal shirt every Saturday since the season began. I even ran the rock n roll 5K and an 8k in it and had several comments from the crowds where people shouted Beat Coastal. My wife is sick of me wearing these shirts. I told her, if we lose this year, I will burn my beat coastal shirts. I do think we Can win this game with a healthy Woodrum. We shall see

"I have so much invested in this team, I was a student manager". I quit reading after that FilmGuy.

As Ive stated before SJ, you would have fired every coach on campus after a big loss. You have zero faith, and no patience, guess what, No head coach in the country would come to your school if you were AD. So its fine if you want to Troll around here and fire all the headcoaches every season, just realize its not what you learned in "sports managment".

By the way, Please stop saying Rocco was pushed out for wins and losses. Him leaving had so much more to do with letting a crackhead with felony charges, suite up and play.

We can win this weekend, and if we do, and we make the playoffs for the first time in school history. Take breath roomates, the season isnt over.

This couldn't be further from the truth. I look at how programs are run, interactions with players and coaches, and then results. I've banged on Toman because, in the past, he was nowhere near the fit we needed for a coach (calling Christian players soft, choking a player in the dugout, etc). I've banged on Gill because there is no organization within his program and it is run completely off of personality and not structure. Stamn has stepped up since the ISU game and has done really well, but I still don't have confidence in Gill.

It's possible to find out information about how people act, lead, and run their programs that points to future success. The things I've found out about Gill point to us being just above .500 every year. He's in year three. Moglia started with less and has done more. He's 17-13 against Division I schools and we're not getting better.

No way. If we stuck to Ken Karcher's plan we would be FBS now. Per Ken Karcher''s plan.

1. I wasn't a manager. I did video and game film.
2. I invested 4 years of my life to this school and 3 1/2 to the football program. I fail to see how me being invested in the program backs up your argument in any way.
3. I think I very specifically said I didn't want to fire they head coach yet.
4. I have had faith every year since i knew this program actually existed. I just don't drink the Kool-aide when we habitually wet the bed every year. I know we can still win this game. "any given Saturday". I get it. but from where I'm sitting its going to take one heck of an effort. And our track record in games that REALLY matter is pretty bad.
5. I know exactly what I learned in Sport Management. I also know what I learned during my Masters in Sports Admin. Yes I know you don't send heads rolling every time you get frustrated. HOWEVER, Complacency in an athletic department and more specifically a football program breeds contempt. I've held back my contempt for several years. Forgive me for not being satisfied with the status quo.

This. Its very possible to figure out the inner workings of a football program if you ask the right questions to the right people. from the things i've learned it doesn't look like its getting any better.
That being said I'd like to see what Gill can do next year. I don't want to fire him yet. My opinion may change if we get our breaks beat off by 45 this week but for now I'd like to see if we can get over the hump next year. OR maybe even this year.

Actually, that wasn't his plan. He was trying to do what the 'Powers That Be' wanted. He knew we were nowhere near ready
Which is why Moglia wouldn't be any better than Gill if he were at LU

Great. Let's talk about another board on this board. Because you know, EVERYONE cares. If it's over there keep it over there. Sorta like Vegas

Here's the deal: I've been going to Coastal's board long before I even knew Liberty existed. I was a Coastal student before I was a Liberty student. I've been friends with those guys for 8+ years. I'm on their board throughout the season, talk with many of them on Twitter/FB regularly, and keep up with Coastal because I actually went there. With that said, I have two degrees from Liberty, worked for the football team, and worked for the athletic department.

I'm a fan. I'll choose Liberty over anyone all day every day. That doesn't mean I won't be honest about things. I'm not going to change my story from message board to message board. I haven't said anything over there that I haven't first said over here.
