One source cites the Liberty & Sun Belt deal has come to details, most of those details have to do with TV rights. Another independent source confirms this and states there are a lot of discussions surrounding how LFSN would operate in the SBC.Two questions.

I was first told by someone who works for Liberty and then someone who has no connection to Liberty verified what I heard to Duke. That's interesting to say the least.
This doesn't mean we're in, just means talks have progressed to details. I was also told this morning by this same LU source that they believe there is a 75% we get in by the June deadline.
And it sounds like LFSN is NOT a positive for us. May even be a hindrance.

May even be a hindrance.I would think that's an asset unless the Sun Belt Presidents are scared of it, they get more exposure through that. I wonder what their problem with LFSN actually is and what we would have to offer to fix that problem. I would think maybe helping the other schools start their own networks, or giving them discounted/free advertising should be enough.

I guess we will black out our football games. Maybe they could be carried in the Lynchburg market.

Hopeful, we can continue to grow and energize an increasingly national fan base without taking steps back. I'm confident we have the right team in place to negotiate a resolution that can better the conference without setting us back.

C- we will be on TV regardless so its not really a wager
3 - wagering is sinful and something I never do

I’m told that Liberty is heading to the FunBelt.
