Peyton Manning is putting on a show to kick off the 2013 season...7 TDs and over 450 yards...Sly is very happy for that performance I'm sure

That's just a crazy number. Baltimore usually gives him problems too. Guess they are really feeling the loss of Lewis et al

Last year's crazy postseason run by the Ravens was an apparition. And if Peyton stays healthy, the Broncos and my Texans are the clear teams to beat in the AFC.

For the record, that Madden-esque performance by Peyton only netted me 46 points based on our scoring system. But I'll take it.

hahaha...How good were you at math in school PH? 496 games is the combined total of all 32 teams playing 16 games each (for a total of 512) factoring out the last three weeks of the season from a fantasy perspective since that is the playoffs

Except that generally, in MOST cases, there would be two teams playing each other, in each game, theoretically speaking.

Yes but each team would play only one game a week or so. In which case in actuality of a Tardisian sort of way each game is actually 2 games! Study

One of the opponents in my league had Peyton and DEmaryius Thomas. He got over 100 points just out of those two. Most weeks 120 points could count you in safely for a win

I have D. Thomas in every other one of my leagues. It was so painful being stuck with Flacco watching that game, Dallas Clark is a moron, why on earth did he keep throwing it to him. And it was tough because I have Peyton in other leagues, but wanting to not go down too much to Sly who BJ is giving the league. Come on Sly, give me DangeRUSS!

Hey now... I'M a Seahawks fan! No Seahawks fan would ever say "the team from Washington" in reference to the Seahawks. It would be "the Team from Seattle." :football

Was I the only one that was completely unimpressed with the Chip Kelly offense? Maybe it's just because it was getting so hyped and then the tweets I saw from the "experts" during the game were like: "welcome to a new era" and all kinds of ridiculous hyperbole. It looked pretty much like a no huddle combined with playing a team that doesn't know how to tackle.

It was good at first. After Gruden finished wetting himself, the game ended with the Eagles only running 7 more plays, which can be attributed to two turnovers in the first half. RG3 looked a little off but got into the game. He threw for 329 yards, a career high!

You're able to run a lot of plays when the other team can't run, hold onto the ball, or get a first down. Add to the fact that the Redskins secondary is really slow, so that left Philly's faster receivers wide open. The Redskins just got off to a bad start, this won't happen again.
