Football, Volleyball, Women's Basketball To Be Video Streamed Next Three Days On The EDGE

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – This weekend’s Big South Volleyball Championship semifinals and title match highlight a three-day, five-event schedule on the Big South’s premium content website, The Big South EDGE presented by Aéropostale, which begins Thursday, Nov. 16 with Liberty women’s basketball hosting Columbia Union at 7:00pm. The live stream of the volleyball championship semifinals from High Point University in High Point, N.C. begins Friday at 4:30pm, with the second match slated for 7:30pm. On Saturday, the Liberty at VMI football game will be video streamed live at 1:00pm, and the volleyball championship match will air live at 4:00pm.

Women’s basketball games are free to viewers, while the remaining events are available for $3.95 each. A full volleyball championship pass featuring all three contests is available for $9.95. In addition, the Conference will have real-time “Live Stats” for the volleyball matches on its website free of charge.

Video streams of all events, which will also be available on a video-on-demand basis for annual subscribers of The EDGE, requires a high-speed internet connection (DSL, cable or above), Microsoft Windows Media Player 9.0 or greater downloaded and installed, and a screen resolution of 800x600 or greater, among other requirements. An annual subscription of The EDGE costs $69.95 and runs one year from the date of sign-up and includes live sporting events and championships, interviews and exclusive access to on-demand video and features.

Women’s Basketball: Liberty vs. Columbia Union, 7:00pm (free)

Friday, Nov. 17
Volleyball: Semifinal Match 1: No. 1 Winthrop vs. No. 4 Birmingham-Southern, 4:30pm ET
Volleyball: Semifinal Match 2: No. 2 UNC Asheville vs. No. 6 Coastal Carolina, 7:30pm ET

Saturday, Nov. 18
Football: Liberty at VMI, 1:00pm
Volleyball: Championship: Match 1 winner vs. Match 2 winner, 4:00pm
