If roundball is your blood, this is the place to discuss the Flames as they move into the Ritchie McKay era for the 2nd time.

I never said it wasn't.

There are other parts of my post that, if Nausayer will not address, I would welcome responses from you or any other detractors.

Is that the kind of crap you want? Because when people say stuff like this....they stay off "THIN ICE"
So, one offers a perspective you find extreme, and your only response is to hyperbolically run to as opposite an extreme as you can fathom?

There is middle ground here, and I feel certain you're capable of finding it. Go ahead and try; I'll wait...

If we make it to 347 out of 347 and I'll be happy. If we are going to be bad, at least be the best at it!! After all if it's Christian it ought to be better!!

Don't worry BJ that is just a joke....

It may not take too much longer to drop to the bottom since only games against Division I games count in the rankings. The next 2 games are against NAIA and Division III opponents so if the Flames win it won't improve their standings. The next game that counts is the 12/31 game at Western Carolina. They're a virtual powerhouse at #208.

Question: What was our out of conference record the last time we won the BSC?

3-10

vs. Canisius, vs Virginia Intermont and vs Chatanooga. So we only had 2 D1 wins OOC that year.

Miami, OH
W&M
Canisius
Duke
Seton Hall
Virginia Intermont
Arkansas State
Chattanooga
Iowa State
Old Dominion
Arizona
Valpo

Most of those teams were VERY good, if not great in 03-04. Duke was #2, Arizona was #5. We don't exactly have a schedule that is comparable this season.
That's cause we needed the cash!

We need to get back to playing those types of schools. This isn't FCS football - the kids won't come here to play Gilligan U, Morgan Pen and Southern Western Northern Virginia. We used to walk in and tell recruits we compete against the biggest teams and we have a good chance to win our conference and go to the big dance every year. I can't remember a worst schedule than this year - ever... And we have only won ONE game :(

Cause RD was always building towards being good in the BSC...maybe we should have appreciated his 2,1,2,3.

Four of the five season finishes under he who shall not be named...the one often not mentioned is an 8th place finish...its used as justification to continue spewing hatred and bitterness toward the AD

Jeff Meyer. I also believe Michigan is #2 or #3 in the nation.

Getting a little closer. Liberty's now #337 out of 347. At this point North Dakota is the only team ranked lower that does not have a Division I win. They're currently 0-7 vs D-I opponents and Liberty is 0-10.
