Per Randy Edsall, Maryland Terrapins HC

Coach Edsall announced tonight that starting quarterback Caleb Rowe has suffered a torn ACL and will be out for the season. Rowe, a freshman who started his first game of season, suffered the injury during Saturday’s game against Boston College. “I feel awful for Caleb. I know how excited he was to get his opportunity to be the quarterback of this team,” Edsall said. “Caleb has a bright future ahead of him and we will do everything we can to support him through the rehab process.”Maryland is now on their 6th string QB. Has this ever happened before?
