Tech has side-by-side practice fields behind Lane Stadium and Cassell Coliseum. Not sure about UVa, but I think it's a similar setup.

Besides I don't think a bubble fits very well with a Jeffersonian theme.RVAparks wrote:BubbleliciousNice. Yeah, if we are trying to sell ourselves to FBS leagues as a viable candidate then a bubble would be a strong sell showing our commitment.
Kinda serious above but I'd be happy with a bubble for now.

1. Helps recruiting
2. Shows a lower level FBS conference we're serious about athletics
3. Helps increase on field performance
How is it a waste?

Cider Jim wrote:What do UVa and Tech have?VT has a field house used for an indoor track and football practice facility that has been around since the 1970s in addition to their practice fields beside Lane Stadium. They are planning an exclusive indoor football practice facility near their stadium but the location is currently a forest and the environmentalists are not happy about that.

jcmanson wrote:They're going to put this where the baseball stadium was going to go. Also, tearing Davids place down and putting baseball stadium thereI've adjusted my map accordingly. Also added more stadium seating for bball since we will be more competetive on the new surface. And I added a few roads so I don't have to walk so far. Someone tell the Chancellor there'll be no extra charge from me for that either.
