Awesome. I'll have to drop by and visit sometime. They have both kinds of Peruvian food, chicken or rice, or both. :D

I know it's close to downtown. I think it's in the historic district. That's all I remember.

Milans. they have new owners and their Nan is much better. Their food is still awesome. ALL of my Indian clients swear by the place as one of the best in the state. (they have a sister place in Charlottesville). There is a good place in Greensboro called Saffron which beats out Milan to some of my clients.

Oh yeah, Foe Me? Well foe you and the horse you rode in on! :D

Machu Pichu ( or however you spell it) is Right past the traffic circle heading towards downtown on the right. If you get to Court street you have gone too far.
Inks Kola ROCKS

Haven't tried Mitchell's but Moore's chicken is excellent as well. They aren't just for Hot Dogs anymore. Love that they are now down the road on Leesville/Waterlick.

Thomas Terrace Market out here. OR Merrediths. Of course ALL of her food is yummy. Best kept secret in the Lynchburg area.

Actually, Machu Pichu closed for a while, and have reopened in the downtown Holiday Inn Express.

I haven't heard anyone say anything about it yet, and it would be too soon to put in this list since it hasn't opened, but there is a new oriental buffet opening up when Pueblo Vallejo used to be in Candlers Station.

There's a new coffee shop downtown called 2 Guys Coffee Shop, anyone tried it? Also, Chopper owned a new cocktail lounge type place where his other lounge is, but I forgot what it's called (same building as Market on Main).

Tried The Boiler Room Lounge on 8th St on Friday. I loved it. The menu is pretty small, but the atmosphere is awesome, the staff was great, and the live jazz was unique to the area. Really cool place (and they have a dress code!). I hope people check it out, it's definitely a restaurant to help keep open.

ALUmnus - What categories would it be classified in our polls?

And HMO was showing off a new downtown option the other day ... was it Catalon's? If so, is that Catalonian-style?

Catalano's is just a deli.

It's hard to peg The Boiler Room because the menu's so small. Half the menu is $11 burgers, but the rest is 4 higher-priced entrees. I'd probably stick it with Robin Alexander/Neighbor's Place category.

There's also a new pizza place where the Chicago pizza place used to be on Main St.

what is it?
Dress Code:
Casual Attire. Collared Shirts.
No Hats, T-shirts, Cut-off Shorts, or Tank Tops.

It's also neat that the entrance is kinda hidden, right in-between the main building and the parking garage, with a big patio area actually under the parking garage.
