... and .5% are a well organized, wealthy, group of activist who have declared war on the scriptures and all who accept them as written. And unfortunately, they work harder to mainstream the lifestyle than some of us do to lead people to Christ. Just like us, they realize that reaching young people and dominating the media is most effective. Media domination is why the 1.5 seems like 10-15%. Another reason it seems high, it's quickly becoming a High School fad. But still it's only a fraction of what HS kids face today. Drugs, all kinds of sex, teen pregnancy, bullying, suicide ....etc.
