Why would the Dolphins pass on a QB?
The Bills are pretty set at RB.
Brock Osweiler? When you have Tannenhill still on your board and the Cards have 2 QBs
The Cowboys are set at RB and don't need Wilson
Dido Titans and James
The Steelers do need help at WR but they LOVE drafting LBs
I like your Upshaw pick for the Texans

The big reason I put RBs with Dallas and Buffalo was injuries last season. I wasnt quite sold on Tannehill going that high to the Dolphins but if they did draft him, he would backup Garrard (who the Dolphins signed after Henne went to Jacksonville of all places). The Steelers do like to sign LBs but I thought they could use a big possession guy to compliment Sanders and Wallace. As for Upshaw, if he drops down to them, the Texans would be good to pick him up with Mario Williams in Buffalo now.

If Jeffries isn't drafted in the first round, close to 20 teams made a mistake. Jeffries was the heart and soul of the USC offense the past few years and practically won a few games by himself. He put up big numbers against SEC corners. He's the most underrated WR in the draft imo. The guys coming out of the Big 12 and PAC-12 are going to struggle for the first couple of years because this is a new type of football. Jeffries should go in that 20-30 spot. Wouldn't be surprised if the Browns took him at 22 or the Broncos at 25. If he's available in the 2nd, that's a great pickup for the Vikings but I think he goes earlier.

Here's my new mock draft:

http://espn.go.com/nfl/draft2012/featur ... 9007,29046

I highly doubt the top five to differ, provided no trades. I could maybe see TB taking a WR instead of a defensive player but Claiborne is hard to pass on. You'll notice Michael Floyd going early and I did that because Jacksonvile's needs at WR are higher than needs on defense.

I only picked the first round but here are some underrated picks that may go higher than projected.

1. T.Y. Hilton - FIU

- The kid is very fast and elusive. I know he was playing in the Sun-Belt but he seems to have more vision than most SEC receivers. Reminds a lot of people of Santana Moss. Could go as early as 2nd round.

2. Coby Fleener - Stanford

- Not the best blocker but we know how much teams are using TE's to block now days. Everything is about having your TE become another receiver and Fleener can definitely do that. Could go as early as 1st round.

3. Alshon Jeffery - South Carolina

- Probably the most NFL ready receiver of the bunch. Very fast but not the fastest, very good hands but not the best. Played in the SEC though and caught balls thrown by a very average at best QB. Could go as early as 1st round.

4. David Wilson - Virginia Tech

- Wilson might be the fastest RB in the class. Very good elusiveness and will surprise you with his strength. His biggest weakness is ball security, had seven fumbles in one season while starting. Could go as early as early second round.

5. Chris Summers - Liberty

- Obviously I'm homing a bit here but we all know the threat Summers brings, his size. He's 6'5" and plays like he's 6'7". Reminds me a lot of Randy Moss and Hakeem Nicks. Will be a great possession receiver. I'd project him higher but I don't think many teams know about him. Could go as early as late 6th round.

Let me know your thoughts.

The reason I dont like the mock drafts. There are gonna be at least 3 trades in the first round.

And no way does barron fall to the eagles at 15.

I agree, there is always the likelihood of trades. Nevertheless, I love the draft and besides actual games, this is my favorite part of the football season. I also tend to think that because of the talent in this years draft, it's going to become much harder for teams to trade up in this draft. I'm expecting the number of trades in this years first round to be lower compared to other players.

I put Barron down at 15 because of the needs with the picks ahead of him. There are only two teams in front of the Eagles that want a corner or safety, Tampa Bay and Buffalo. They'll both have chances to get Morris Claiborne and Stephon Gilmore, who are arguably better than Barron. The top of this draft seems to be focused on offense (as it should be) but if teams start going for defense early, that could push Barrron up.

Your leaving out the possibility of teams trading up for Barron at 10 11 12, Great Corners are becoming a major factor on Defenses.

Dallas is looking for secondary help as well and I have also heard Jets might make a play to nab Barron by moving up in the draft via trade

True and I think Barron is very underrated coming into this draft. Unfortunately, I have no idea whose going to trade up to 10, 11 or 12 or if any of those teams even want to give up those picks. I'm sure something of the sort will happen but there is no way for me to predict that. Barron is good enough to be a top 10 pick but with the needs teams have at offense, I just don't see it. Last years Super Bowl consisted of the 27th best defense and the 31st. Not to mention, only 4 of the top 10 defenses even made playoffs last year, compare that to six of the top ten offenses did and I think you have your answer as to what's more important. Nevertheless, if Barron falls below 13, that's a steal for anyone.

I've heard that as well and I could see Barron falling into those spots. The Cowboys' pick could go many different directions I think, so I went with what I think they need most.

The real kicker in the draft is if Miami doesn't go with Tannehil. Who would you pick? Floyd?

I personally think Floyd has bust written all over him..if I am Miami why not trade down..they have a lot of needs..trade down and get weeden latere in the 1st round and pick up an extra 2nd or 3rd round pick...not sure if there would be any takers though

Probably a good idea but when you look at their OC, they're taking Tannehill.
