NO ACC teams in the Final Four???

Kentucky vs. Louisville
Kansas vs. Ohio State

Anybody honestly pick those 4 in your bracket?

You may want to check your facts

http://blogs.heraldtimesonline.com/iusp/?p=14308

The bad scores were when MikeDavis left and Kelvin Sampson.

Quote
This year’s four-year average improved both because of this year’s performance and because the final year of the Davis era rolled off the average. In Tom Crean’s first two years as head coach, the Hoosiers scored 975 and 1000 respectively, but the four-year average is still being hindered by Sampson’s two years at the helm. Indiana scored a 932 his first year before the 811 in his second and final season.
So then they still have a below 1,000 APR four-year average. The four-year average or however many years it is is the number that matters for NCAA Tournament eligibility. Therefore, my facts are still correct.

But Crean was making the statement based on his time at IU. And they do have 1000 APR This year. The NCAA even says so! Crean is only addressing what he has done. A 975 and a 1000 is very impressive.

I got three out of four in my men's bracket. Picked Kansas all along because I figured they'd have more of a home-court advantage. Had Ky and OSU too.

I'm not sure Kentucky is a lock to win. Look at the Heat last year. Just because you have the highest payroll doesn't mean you are guaranteed a championship!

obviously they can have a bad game but they would roll these other 3 in 7 games series. nc's marshall put a stop on this years brackets for me.

I had the same thing. I picked Kansas from the beginning, because I believed UNC wasn't good enough to beat them with or without the injured player. IF KU plays like they did yesterday, they could beat an All Star team from the NCAA.

Kentucky already put a stomping on Kansas this year on a neutral court, Kentucky was up 16 on them with 1:11 left in the game and ended up winning by 10. Obviously both teams are better than they were back then, but it's still the same personnel.

aka Kentucky. What makes you think they could be an all star team when they had their hands full with 3 minutes to go with a PG-less UNC team?

Ohio State can give Kentucky a run for their money. Kansas not so much unless Kansas bring theirs A+ game and Kentucky brings something resembling a B game or less. OSU could play their A+ game and beat Kentucky A- game, in my opinion. Although many of their fans seem even that wouldn't be enough.

The only team that will beat Kentucky is themselves, if they bring their A game like they have pretty much all tournament, no one is beating them. Teams can't score with them if Kentucky is hitting shots. Indiana put up 90 points and still lost by double digits!

Can they lose? Sure. Kentucky is capable of not playing their A game, but it will take them having to get arrogant again by thinking they can just walk over everyone like they acted in the SEC Tournament.

As a Kentucky fan, I actually preferred a Louisville rematch instead of a fourth matchup with Florida. Better matchup from Kentucky not having to play a four-guard offense. Kyle Wiltjer can get more than a few spot minutes against Louisville, he isn't outmatched athletically and won't be forced to guard a perimeter player all game. I assume Louisville will zone some since they can't guard the Kentucky players one-on-one, so having his excellent three point shooting stroke can help spread out the zone. In the first matchup, he played 15 minutes and he hasn't played much against high quality teams because he is a defensive liability (but improving). That 15 minutes was actually the most he played against an NCAA Tournament team.
