Is everyone ready for the NFL to go boom next week? The blatant collusion, the dishing out of salary cap penalties the night before FA without any rules violated, the coercion of the NFLPA (without a vote), and the stupidity of having the decision made by a committee headed by a division rival of the only two teams punished is mind boggling. Are the old boys in the NFL really that clueless about what they can legally do? I've heard one suggestion that lends itself to the Redskins seeking subpoenas of Goodell and Mara in NY, and Smith in VA, requiring them to provide all written communications on the subject.
How anybody involved with the other 30 teams, the NFLPA, and the league office thought it was wise to go after the 2 most profitable/valuable franchises (one of which has sued a grandmother recently) is beyond me. I have a feeling the league will cave, but this good fundamentally alter the league if they're arrogant/stupid enough to think they can win this in court.

If the college you visit has a bookstore filled with t-shirts rather than books, find another college. —Al Mohler
