GW as in Gardner Webb? Winthrop >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> G-W
Not only is Winthrop a better job than G-W; Meyer was Marshall's right hand man there right after he was shafted at LU, so he knows the school and the area well. It might be one of the few mid-major jobs he would consider, but I would still be very surprised if he took another head coaching job, unless it was in the state of Indiana.

Well, cross one name off the list. If anyone needs me to rep them it looks like I'll be available....

Id want to run something similar to "the system" at Grinnell (and I think VMI runs something like that as well...at least, they did until this year) with some Princeton offense sets if a team tried to force a halfcourt game...I dont know if that would mesh well with the players that are currently down in Rock Hill.

Very mature decision by you BJ....most people would jump at this opportunity even if it isnt a good fit and try to make it work...you're sitting back waiting for the perfect opportunity

You want to make as seamless a transition as possible between systems...is there such a thing as a perfect transition? No...but if you can make the learning curve as short as possible, it can help the coach and the players too

Seems like Barclay Radebaugh's name might be going to the front down in Rock Hill based on what some are speculating. I can't see WU hiring him despite the ties, due to the overall losing record at CSU.

Grinnell's system is based on pressing gambling and running. Teams can't really 'slow it down' because there are too many good looks for players. Plus that pesky thing called a shot clock
Princeton is a walk it up cut and move offense. Although if you were ever lucky enough to hear Pete C talk about it he made it sound like a quick strike offense

Fair point Purple...I guess you could say I want the best of both worlds as part of the overall offensive strategy. I think the "pack line" (I think that is how its spelled) defense would be part of things as well

Anyone know if RD is interested in this position? Or if GM would write RD a recommendation? What was RD's record against GM back in the day?

TorC or IMBach could send a recommendation.

Not if GM ever spoke to JM. Being they were on the same coaching staff, they probably talked. :D
