NJ 100, NYC 92.

Deron Williams goes off on Lin for 38 points. Lin finishes with 21 points, nine assists, seven boards, and only three turnovers but did foul out guarding DWill. Only three turnovers tonight.

IMO D Williams is the most under rated PG in the league.

I wouldn't go around publicly saying a white american is a european american. I somehow got accused of being racist for it one time. Apparently I am not even allowed to infer my ancestors originated from Europe...

It's amazing just how poorly they've handled getting anyone around him after pulling off the trade to bring him in. That kid is going to change a franchise next year and there's no amount of crazy rich Russian and hip hop superstar hinting towards a move to Brooklyn that can change that.

they played him with reckless abandon. you on his as soon as he got over half court. getting doubled by james or wade whenever he got into the key. he looked out of control for most of the game. i think he got fouled 4 or 5 times in the backcourt.

Lin was quoted as saying he had a difficult time just dribbling the ball against the Heat defense. Nice statement W for the Heat, but can they do the same thing when it matters most, aka the Finals?

Or the eastern conference Finals when they are trying to chase ROSE all around.

the bulls (my team) didn't get any better this year. a hobbled rip hamilton won't put them over the top against a 7 game series with the heat that are most definitely better than last year.

okc/heat championship and its going to be awesome.

I agree, that would be a great series. Wouldn't be shocked if the Spurs (if healthy) made a run though.

Boozer is playing better. Rip isnt here for regular season games, he will be ready for the playoffs. He misses 20 games a season for his groin most years. Deng was an All Star for the first year of his career.

If you were to ask Lebron who guards him the best in the league. He would say Deng probably. I would say that Rip is in D wades top 3 that guard him best. Add D. Rose and the Bulls have a legit shot.

deng isn't any better than he has been in the past. boozer plays literally no defense chris bosh makes mince meat out of him. rip gives us a scoring sg, but you can't rely on him to be healthy enough to play at this point. we don't have the scorers to compete with the heat who are just as good defensively, but so much more potent offensively.

it woudl be sheer will in order for us to win, which i hope does happen, but i'm really not seeing it.

I just don't see how the Heat don't make the Finals.

* Chicago doesn't have enough offensive firepower right now unless Boozer and Hamilton somehow rediscover their All-Star form. They are a better version of the LeBron Cavaliers in that Rose is the only legit scorer with other quality players for support cast, but the East now is so much better than it was when LeBron took the Cavs to the finals...
* Boston is a perfect exmaple of a team where the regular season doesn't matter so much as long as they just make the playoffs and keep their rotation guys healthy for the playoffs. I imagine the playoff Celtics will be much better than the regular season Celtics, but they would have to see tremendous improvement to keep up with the Heat.
* Philly doesn't have the offense although they have the elite level defense that is needed. I think if they can get one truly legitimate go-to scorer they could take the Heat as the other pieces around would be very competent support scorers, better than what Rose has that is.
* Orlando is Orlando, so they will lose. Plus you got the whole Howard saga, will he even be there come playoff time?
* ATL is toast in the playoffs without Horford.
* Doubt NYK will be rolling like they have been recently since Amare and Melo don't play defense. Plus Miami already just dismantled NYK.
* Indiana is a wild card being as young and playoff inexperienced as they are, but Miami has already handled them twice.
