No, I think Newt's ex wife has that covered :D You know she wanted to be the First Lady, that's why she's acting out like such a drama queen.

You must not be watching Newts speech. She shot the lady in the red dress next to her some devil eyes when she was talking to someone on stage!

Gingrich won many of those northern counties handily. That will come into play once the South begins to vote, and you will see the corolation.

Having said that a surprise to me was the Miami area that went almost 60% for Romney.
That was my point earlier. Look who won those in the 08 primary.
The difference is that Huckabee in the north only got around 30%. Gingrich is running 50-60% in those counties right now.

And yeah Haize, I'm not watching it, I'm actually reading a book on Charles Evans Hughes while between comments lol

This is more entertaining
Actuality Willard did pretty well in those counties in 08.
Newt is sssooooooo long winded in these speeches. Just say 'Thanks. We fought hard, we fight on'. Now he in on Executive order 9 he will sign on the first day and what bills he will send to congress the first day. Study

Yeah there's not really anything for Newt to say. Romney will win Michigan and Nevada and probably Maine so he had might as well save his fire for Super Tuesday.

And Virginia Illinois and Virginia.....since Newtron couldn't get organized enough to get on the ballots!

I do like the Rage Against the Machine theme Palin started. I'm sure the band is happy with that correlary!
One thing I thought interesting is that Rush Limbaugh all but endorsed Santorum today

Yeah I love Rush but you're right he has basically endorsed Santorum. The whole social issue things. But if you're a fiscal conservative I think honestly, EVEN ROMNEY is better than Santorum on spending.

Ron Paul shows some class. When he said that he called to congratulate Gov Romney on his win the crowd started to boo. He stopped them and said a few good things, then said he told Gov Romney he would see him in the Causus states. ( he may have meant Caucasian states!)
He IS 3rd in delegates at the moment. I would like to see him move to a 2nd place spot. His wife puts the fear of God in me though! Reminds me of one of my elementary school teachers!

There's something weird about Ron Paul and Mitt Romney getting along so well. I can't put my finger on it but I don't like it. His supporters sure as heck hate Romney.

It's funny because Ron Paul is 76 I believe, but seriously he's the most physically fit of all the candidates. People say he's too old but he's in a lot better shape than Gingrich is.

And Paul was wrong on the delegate count. He IS 4th.
They get along so well because it IS possible to reasonably disagree with someone. Plus, I think Willard likes some of Paul's economic policies. Romney/ Paul 2012? :D

But if Paul is VP, that means nothing unless (God forbid) Mitt dies.

If I may just quickly add, I get so frustrated at how short sighted the typical Republican voter is. Bachmann and Perry may not have been the best candidate, but they were rock solid on economic issues. But we can't have those two, because Newt's a good debater (sarcasm)

Who said I was a Mitt fan? I just simply think he's all but won this thing. I hate Kentucky basketball but I'm not going to deny their greatness over the years. Same concept. I can't stand Paul, Newt and I'm not exactly fond of Mitt. I'd vote for Santorum if he actually had a shot. Furthermore, I've stated several times that I will not vote in the Republican Primary because I do not support any Republican candidate. Currently, I am supporting Donald Trump, provided he runs as an independent. If he does not run, I may simply not vote.

On another note, I know you Paul supporters will never be convinced that Paul has lost this primary. I'd be willing to bet that even after the convention, you'll be yelling "voting conspiracy!" Paul has 4 total delegates. A whopping 4 total delegates! Santorum has 14 and doesn't have a shot in winning this thing. Paul was never expected to win the primary in the first place and he hasn't even lived up to expectations of finishing second. Mitt may lose a few states down the road, sure. But you're crazy if you think Paul could make a comeback.

First of all Kentucky basketball in like Darth Vader compared to Obi Wan. They are only masters of evil and all of their success is built like the Death Star. They are not great, only evil.
On a happier note, Paul wil get at least the 3 rd most delegates before it is all said and done. He is focusing on the caucus states and helped greatly by proportionality.

To JBocks point. Bachman was not ready for prime time and Perry's ego derailed him. He thought he'd come right in and be the front runner without any work.

lol so you've worked on political campaigns? Your analysis proves you haven't  nobody is saying Ron Paul will win. I'm just telling you if the Gingrich-Santorum crowd fuse, it's over for Mittens.

So if Ron Paul doesn't win his supports will automatically claim conspiracy?? You do realize there is a great understanding among Ron Paul supporters that he WON'T win. I think he will do better then last time, but come on man.

This is the kind of crap that is out there for whatever reason. I won't ever understand it.

Sweat please just leave this discussion. If you actually took a second to listen to ANY Paul support on this board you would understand NONE of us think Paul has the greatest shot but it is sickening to me that you think we are idiots bc we chose to back someone bc thats what our morals as American's tell us to.

If the majority was always right then America would not be here today speaking only about a third of the colonist actually supported a revolution in the beginning. Myself and a large majority of Paul supporters agree Paul is a long shot but since when has standing up for what you believe in a stupid thing.

Also if you say you may not even vote then what the @#$% are you even doing in this discussion bc if you dont vote your opinion is no longer valid.

So true. Supporting Trump tells me you know absolutely nothing about politics.

I've interjected my thoughts on this topic before in this very thread and I have to say that from a fiscal standpoint - we don't need to be looking for any fights right now. We do however need to continue to prepare for one, which is why I disagree with the decision to go from a fighting force that can handle 2.5 conflicts to 1.5. Regardless of your sentiments on the topic of interventionist policies, we have made a commitment to our allies and to the advancement of freedom in the world. I don't think it's to our best interest around the world to simply let Iran obtain a nuke as if there are no consequences that we would feel here at home. Ron Paul would do himself concede this point, but to maintain that we have no money left in the coffers to afford 2 wars and 2 - 3 incursion operations.

Finally, I don't think anyone here is qualified to comment on any one country's abilities to attack us. Iran, as the largest state sponsor of terror, does not need a nuclear tipped ICBM to strike us. For evidence, I refer to the following article: http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/ ... -cells.htm

I like John Bolton. I like his tough stance. It isn't extreme as you make it out to be thigh. Also his name has been floated by several as Sec State in a Newt Rick or Willard admin. Ron Paul will be eliminating the department all together :D

jbock, your constant putting words in people's mouth is getting obnoxious. I think every response to anybody who has disagreed with you has included things that the person never said. Nobody is talking about "all the Muslims". Nobody. Nobody talks about Turkey, Qatar, UAE, Indonesia, Morocco, Senegal, and countless other muslim majority countries. Singling out these few countries as problems we have to deal with is the exact opposite of painting with the broad brush you keep assuming we're using.
