As I've said before, Mitt does not have this nomination yet. Not even by a long shot. Look at northern Florida (i.e where people who actually vote Republican live). Gingrich won many of those northern counties handily. That will come into play once the South begins to vote, and you will see the corolation.

Having said that a surprise to me was the Miami area that went almost 60% for Romney.

That was my point earlier. Look who won those in the 08 primary.

The difference is that Huckabee in the north only got around 30%. Gingrich is running 50-60% in those counties right now.

Ron Paul shows some class. When he said that he called to congratulate Gov Romney on his win the crowd started to boo. He stopped them and said a few good things, then said he told Gov Romney he would see him in the Causus states. ( he may have meant Caucasian states!)
He IS 3rd in delegates at the moment. I would like to see him move to a 2nd place spot. His wife puts the fear of God in me though! Reminds me of one of my elementary school teachers!

If I may just quickly add, I get so frustrated at how short sighted the typical Republican voter is. Bachmann and Perry may not have been the best candidate, but they were rock solid on economic issues. But we can't have those two, because Newt's a good debater (sarcasm)

First of all Kentucky basketball in like Darth Vader compared to Obi Wan. They are only masters of evil and all of their success is built like the Death Star. They are not great, only evil.
On a happier note, Paul wil get at least the 3 rd most delegates before it is all said and done. He is focusing on the caucus states and helped greatly by proportionality.

I've interjected my thoughts on this topic before in this very thread and I have to say that from a fiscal standpoint - we don't need to be looking for any fights right now. We do however need to continue to prepare for one, which is why I disagree with the decision to go from a fighting force that can handle 2.5 conflicts to 1.5. Regardless of your sentiments on the topic of interventionist policies, we have made a commitment to our allies and to the advancement of freedom in the world. I don't think it's to our best interest around the world to simply let Iran obtain a nuke as if there are no consequences that we would feel here at home. Ron Paul would do himself concede this point, but to maintain that we have no money left in the coffers to afford 2 wars and 2 - 3 incursion operations.

Finally, I don't think anyone here is qualified to comment on any one country's abilities to attack us. Iran, as the largest state sponsor of terror, does not need a nuclear tipped ICBM to strike us. jbock, your constant putting words in people's mouth is getting obnoxious. I think every response to anybody who has disagreed with you has included things that the person never said. Nobody is talking about "all the Muslims". Nobody. Nobody talks about Turkey, Qatar, UAE, Indonesia, Morocco, Senegal, and countless other muslim majority countries. Singling out these few countries as problems we have to deal with is the exact opposite of painting with the broad brush you keep assuming we're using.
