Pardon the pun. But no one will be successful if you keep moving the goal line of what success is.

I don't think Tebow has been horrible this year, I just don't think he's been as great as the media/fans have made him to be. That's all. He's still winning games and that is what counts. However, I don't see his success rolling over to next year because of his playing style. Everyone jumped on the Vick/Eagles bandwagon last year. Look at them now.

You have to understand the timing of when they played the Raiders. Jason Campbell had just went out with a season ending injury and Carson Palmer had only been there for two weeks. They lost to KC by 28 the week before they lost to Denver. So, at the time that Denver played them, they weren't playing a playoff caliber team. The Jets are completely overrated and if they make playoffs, they won't make it past the first round.

That's the CJ we have come to know and love!
That's just crazy talk. I'm struggling to find more then 1 or 2 media types singing Tebows praises. Heck his own team President says bad things about him. The fact thati actually want him to succeeds because of the absolute vitriol he receives from people like Jackson Fault Schlereth and others. I don't think ANYONE is calling him an elite QB but good grief, enjoy the success. And yes their defense is doing awesome. John Fox IMO should be coach of the year especially if they make the playoffs

I'm referring to the "Tebow does it again" and the guys on PDI saying that despite Tebow's completion rating, he's a good quarterback. I know that no one in the media is referring to him as an elite quarterback. Notice the slash and fans next to it? That means I'm not only referring to the media. Furthermore, to get technical, I said "as great as the media/fans make him out to be." That means I think Tebow is overrated. I never said that the media said he's an elite or great quarterback.

On the other hand, I do agree that John Fox should be coach of the year. He's doing quite well for what he was given.

Only now, with the Broncos having a good chance to win their fifth straight, and go 6-1 with Tebow as a starter, have I seen the error of my ways. Actually, it’s not just my error. The entire football establishment is culpable. To dismiss Tebow merely on the basis of an amateurish throwing motion is easy. It’s intuitive. But it’s also wrong.

Tebow leads the Broncos to another win, this time against the Vikings, 35-32, on the last play of the game.

And that is with their vaunted defense giving up 32 pts. Wish I could see Mr Jackson's reaction to this one. He was willing to give everyone including the popcorn guy credit for the Broncos success before Tebow!

Congrats to Tebow for leading his team to a win against the highly successful and talented 2-10 Vikings. He did it against a top 30 defense too! Nice job!

Yeah Denver's defense really helped him win the game, not Tebow.

Did you even watch the game? If not, then don't say a word. Or even have an opinion.

I did watch the game, which is why I didn't say anything about Denver's defense in that post. I'm really just laughing about how many praises Tebow is getting for winning a game against the 2nd worst team in the NFL.

This is completely insane. I'll try one last time.

You can't win without a defense. It's impossible. Tebow had the best game of his life because HIS DEFENSE couldn't even stop a 2-10 team.

His throws looked excellent, far better than they have been. He had a great offensive game, and you're still dumping on him?

Either you're that shallow, or just out for arguments. Secondly, I don't believe you when you say you watched the game. Highlights don't count.

its better than losing. Going 6-1 in a 7 game stretch in the NFL is impressive no matter what. Should Tebow get all the credit? No way, BUT he has done a great job at not making mistakes and keeping his team in it. Yes he needs work in a lot of areas, but that is the main difference between pre-Tebow and now.

I have not heard anybody say Tebow is great, except for the Christians out there who aren't football fans but decided they should give Tim Tebow their full support. Aside from that, people are pretty much stating the obvious. He needs work, but he keeps his team in games.

he did what i expected him to do. a nice mistake free game. that fumble could of gone either way. he showed he was able to match points when he had to. the vikings are pretty terrible, but von miller means alot to the broncos. his presence was missed.

Apparently not so impossible. Oklahoma St. does it all the time, Duke did it three times this season. The Patriots defense is ranked 32nd and Green Bay's defense is ranked 30th. So, it's not impossible.

Denver's defense has carried this team this season, they just had a really bad game today. And yes I did watch, but I could care less what you believe.

He had one nice fade and the rest weren't anything above average. I will give you that he did win that game for them today. However, he won against a 2-10 team, I'm still not impressed. I predicted Denver to win because Minnesota is horrible. Their pass defense is ranked 29th in the league. It's not an impressive win for me.

Denver plays New England in two weeks. I'm taking New England by 17 and I bet Denver doesn't score more than a touchdown. Let's see how Tebow does against a real team.

Or how about how he won against the jets and raiders, two possible playoff teams? Nah, let's just leave that out.

They'll best Chicago, but probably lose to New England.

The Jets are soooo overrated. They'll probably make the playoffs because the rest of their schedule is soft. Denver beat Oakland right after Campbell went out. Oakland was shutout by KC (a horrible team) 28-0 the week before. Again, I'll give Tebow credit for the win against the Jets because that's more conjecture than anything else.

I also think Tebow's success has been a product of his opponents' futility and his defense's ability up until yesterday. That said, you basically contradicted yourself. You point out that the Patriots defense is ranked 32nd then stated that Denver wouldn't score more than 7 points because the Patriots are a real team. Which is it? I think the Patriots will crush Denver as well, but mostly because they have a high powered offense. I see the score being around 35-17.

Tebow is winning with a team that a number of average to below average QB's couldn't win with. He isn't on the level of Rogers, Brady, or Brees (no one thinks he is). But Tebow is a little better than the average QB to-date.

I'm sick of people like sweaty trying to make it sound like anyone thinks Teabow's better than Brady. No one is saying that. Tebow's supporters are saying that he's good enough to help win (not win on his own) the AFC West, which we all know isn't the best but it's still the NFL and a number of QB's couldn't seem to do it. Tebow is slightly better than average, ease up.
