We will get out of the Big South when an opportunity to step up to an FBS conference presents itself which will be after we decide the time is right to move up OR the CAA invites. When/if either one of those things happen, we will no longer care about school like Radford.

I'm not sweating a CCU invitation from the SoCon because if that occurs it means Appy & possibly Georgia Southern are bolting and there is a huge shakeup underway. The SBU to CAA possibility is definitely something to follow.

As far as I've heard it, the Dedmond guy (or whoever gave to repair the demond center) gave the money with a string that Radford could not build a football team.

At least that's what the students said.

Yeah...though Dedmon was the President of Marshall University when their football team was wiped out in a tragic plane crash. He was then removed before becoming president of Radford.

Yeah, the UNCC rumor was the one I always heard the most...like some old-lady donor would pull her money if they ever had football. So either she's not around anymore, or that was never true to begin with.

Surprisingly, those same type of rumors never existed at Winthrop (at least not while I was there)...
