Everyone knows that the stadium only seats 12K, right? I think we all have been thrown off by the past attendance announcements, but lets be realistic. This will be the biggest crowd in LU History - don't get me wrong. But there is only so many places to put bodies in Williams Stadium. Grass Hill, Top of Student Section, temporary bleachers behind current seats, etc... Unless we are setting up auxiliary seating in the Vines Center with the game on the Big Screens:) - You can probably only get a legitimate 13 K with everyone occupying all open seats. Hey - this isn't a bad thing - it will prove that we can handle a bigger stadium, but some people will not want to come, because they won't want to deal with the crowd that is expected.
OK - my prediction:
I'm afraid to post this, but this is a prediction and not what I hope happens. Going with my "what’s Realistic" Theme - I think we are putting to much pressure on Rocco and the guys to instantly transform this team into a top 10 team. Next year I will think completely different. Rocco gets full year under belt, gets some more O-Line help, etc... If anyone knows me either personally or from this board - I'm the most loyal fan and strongest supporter of Liberty Athletics, so this pains me. But maybe I feel if I post my truest prediction - I will be proven wrong.
(Get on with it already!!!!!!!!)
