Dominating performances by Halladay and Lincecum on days 1 and 2 of the playoffs. I don't have a dog in this fight, so I'm enjoying the continuation of the "year of the pitcher." Both games were very fun to watch. It may be boring to casual fans who want to see a slugfest, but there's something beautiful about a masterful 1-0 shutout, in my opinion.

Lincecum had 31 swinging strikes last night. THIRTY ONE! And the Braves are throwing Melky Cabrera out at in the 5 spot tonight. Doh.

Awful is being kind. However, he's now set himself up to hit a game-winning walk-off HR today. All will be forgiven.

I can't believe the Rays have forced a game 5. It will be a great game. David Price won't give up 5 (4 earned) runs again, it just doesn't happen. I imagine Cliff Lee will come out strong once again. I see this being a 2-1 game...going either way at this point.

Its crazy how fast things can just turn around. I honestly thought after they lost game 1 with David Price on the mound that they had 0 chance to get the series back to St Pete, crazy.

I never understood that. Why'd they put BOTH Tampa home games at 1PM?

who knows...I mean the yankees will bring better ratings in the evening so I guess that was their mindset, but tomorrow's game is at 8, so it should be a packed house. I know I will be watching

Obviously you didn't get my joke. The Atlanta Braves have a history of not selling out playoff games.

Allow me to paraphrase a slightly famous speech by JFK:
"All [baseball fans], wherever they may live, are citizens of [Arlington], and, therefore, as a [person who hates the Yankees], I take pride in the words 'Ich bin ein [Arlington, Texas]!'
