Haha. I think TB didn't do that bad. He didn't have too much of a chance to be amazing. When he made a three, coach took him out... That helps? Yea he turned the ball over a few times but not as much as Gordon.

Seems as if our HC Nibert and HC Layer talked on the phone last night about how to handle clemson and deal with a potential big loss and what to take out of a game like that. Coach Nibert just talked about it on the pregame show. Not making fun or anything b/c its well documented that BB called coach rocco and asked him for advice or how to run things. But it is good to see the coaches already having a good relationship that quickly.

ESPN had a graphic on the screen during the Duke game and it was showing the highlights of the day so far. Listed as one of the three was this: Liberty Fans pack the VInes Center. 5,300 of 7,000 strudents show up for Clemson game.

They have shown that graphic several times which is great publicity! I don't think most of the country expected anything more from us against ACC competition. It is just us that know, love and follow the program that want and expect more. Heck, Charlotte is down 74-37 to Duke and most in the country would say (wrongly) that Charlotte is a half step over us.

I just hate how everytime we get on ESPN or have a big home game we lay an egg. This Clemson team is ranked, but they are breaking in quite a few new players as well. I told my buddy that I was shocked at the atmosphere was even when we were getting crushed. The team just needs a couple of guys to step up and be the "go to" guys on offense. Nobody looks for their shot other than Ohman and he was clearly over his head today. I have no idea what to expect the rest of the way, but I do think that our guys are still playing like we have a Seth or Anthony out there.

About the only positives from the actual play was Carter and Gordon's defense.

PS. I forgot how cocky Booker was. Did anyone else get a kick out of that Horace Grant looking kid when he dunked, pretty sure he screamed one of the loudest Rick Flair patented yells. That was like the only good play that guy made all day, he should have been playing for us.

the guys n the studio read the Tennessee score and said that is not a typo. Glad that didn't have to be said of us.

Just a hunch, but you might feel better after we play at Chapel Hill Monday night. We might lose by 50.

Look at UNC-A tonight against UT.

Look at Winthrop barely scraping by Limestone then losing tonight.

Coastal and CSU winning tonight look impressive however.

ESPN has always poked fun at us. I got a laugh at the comments.

It's good for Liberty as a school. We got publicity and every 5 minutes SC anchors make a comment about how cool it was that students got excused absenses. Tell me high school kids dont think thats AWESOME!

We even got some love in the Duke game. Out of the 7,000 on-campus students (not including commuters), we had something like 5200 in our student section. That's a pretty big percentage.

No it won't.

Dec. 12 - Roy will still be trying to find his best rotations. The Heels are young & the score will not be as bad as the UNCA/Tenn game.
