It's the extra possesions (9 more shots for the Lakers).

That's the only reason they're in the game. So I figured it was the hustle, turnovers, and offensive boards

lakers need to get the ball down to pau more often. rashard cant guard him in the post and it helps slow down the game by preventing long rebounds for magic fastbreak opportunities.

Should have been a reach in before the shot, but yeah, it was a legit call. I hate how we keep giving him that crap. At least he missed 2 of 3.

that is a pretty weak call on kobe for his third foul. fisher elbows worse than that and gets called for nothing. if they are going to call that, several offensive fouls occur on both ends of the court on every possession.

GRAB THE BALL! Come on Magic, you have to want to win and just reach out and grab the ball. Hit the floor, anything, just get the stinking basketball, holy crap.

I think it's because Kobe has been chirping at the refs after every time he doesn't score/commits a turnover. They're kinda sick of him.

they need to box out first. not a single person boxed out ariza or gasol on that last off. board. four magic players there around the pain and not a single box out.

That's not the point. Howard went for the contest and that screwed up his box out, and that happens some times. But we had 5 or 6 chances at the ball and just didn't grab it. That's what's killer.

rafer is on fire. even when fisher is playing good D he is draining tough shots.

three other magic players there to box out. there's no excuse for not boxing out, it's just laziness.

He's using his creativity and skill rather than trying to be a shooter.

And there he goes and throws the ball to Kissimmee

You're totally missing the point, but whatever.

like i said, its laziness. the magic are being lazy on the defensive boards.

It was one play, and since then Rashard has boxed out Odom or Gasol like 4 or 5 times.

apparently the lakers have forgotten about the concept of ball movement, they arent even really trying to do it.

Thanks for helping them out coach. I'll let SVG know that they no longer need his services and you can take over starting Game 4.

Lakers aren't using their bench at all this game. Other than Odom, only 11 minutes combined.

the lakers are proving this on so many levels right now. little defense, not making FTs, poor ball movement on the offfensive end (magic are playing good D, but the lakers arent making much of an efort to do it either)

lakers are doing one heck of a job in this 4th quarter. they are looking hungry for a W and mentally tough right now by focusing on playing some pretty good defense. if they had played this way the first 3 quarters they probably would win the game. i don't know what phil jackson did in between the quarters, but he needs to do it more often for the lakers sake.
