it'll be crazy to be making the trip for the duke home games and watching freakin seth curry play in cameron... that is if he goes to duke... and dad decides it's worth the $1,000,000,000,000.

in this case... i'd actually have to slightly turn my loyalties to the flames. growing up in durham, i'm a lifelong duke fan, and i'll always hate the tar heels (that's for flamesfilmguy), but i'm a student at liberty, and will one day be an alumni. i can't justify hoping the school i graduated from loses. that would be the ONLY time i'd EVER even partially hope for a blue devil loss ... and even then it'd probably about kill me.

Amazing how so many associated with a school rooted in Christian values can jump on Seth Curry's back so viciously. I've seen a few (very few) posts asking that posters not abuse the kid, but to little avail. A little reminder - this is NOT ABOUT YOU. Its about a kid (another reminder, you're blasting a 19 year old?) who wants to push himself on the most competitive stage possible. He helped the flames to a great year - one that likely wouldn't have been as successful without him.

You all talk about loyalty - how he USED you. We (well, you - since i won't wade into your "Christian values"-based mosh pit again) could spend days debating who gets "used" in college athletics, the institution or the player. I wish Seth the best - he's a talented young man who is doing what we wish more kids had the guts to do - push himself to the limits of his ability.

In all honesty, dont you think this last season may have pushed you to the limits of your ability?

Yeah theres plenty of arguments for both sides of the argument in will he do better or even as good in a higher rated converence. Like in the sense of "well on a better team he wont be the focus of all of the defense so he can play better" but at the same time, if he goes to one of the bigger schools, most of the time the one player that will be guarding seth will be much taller than what hes used to in the big south, and a much better player defending him. So yeah, he wont be the center of focus for the defense, but he wont have to be, one person from a higher level is enough.

And I dont think were abusing seth. For the most part, the worst of us are simply saying we hope he fails wherever he goes.

And to be honest, that post seemed alot like something a curry might say if they had the chance to.
