The competition level is what made his younger brother, Seth, decide Tuesday to transfer from Liberty after being the top scoring freshman in the country. Stephen Curry said his brother has “a lot of offers on the table” from schools in the Atlantic Coast, Southeastern and Big East conferences.

“It’s every kid’s dream to go to that kind of level,” Curry said. “Now he has plenty of opportunities to do that.”

Yeah, I'm wondering if Stephen was interviewed for that article today or yesterday. But regardless, I guess as soon as the news hit on Tuesday, coaches could have been calling. If I were a coach I'd definitely want to be one of the first to call.

Yes... I think in some ways it will. It shows that you can come to Lynchburg and be a star, since Seth did it, but it also shows we now have a hole that someone needs to fill, and a kid with a big heart and a lot of talent can say "I wanna take over and pick up the slack".

Or, if you're a role player who usually scores about 10 a game, now you at least know that you'll get some shots, as opposed to just watching Seth put up 22 a game. Seth not being here will lead to more balance, and more balance means more happy players.

I heard VTech...and I understand that someone will come to try to fill the position, but every position needs to be made better. With him, more recruits wanting to play along side him making us better faster. But maybe slow and steady wins the race...

In point of clarification, schools could not begin calling Seth right away. Each school must receive it's own release from LU in order to contact him. This allows Seth to choose exactly to whom he will speak. That's why Coach McKay's phone was blowing up. In addition, I would imagine there's a fax machine in Hancock that's been getting an awfully thorough workout the last 24-48 hours.
