The funniest thing about the cadets is half of them didn't know what to do when someone was polite to them. I was outside of the arena waiting for a friend I came with after the game and the cadets would walk by to the bus and I told them great game or congratulations and at least half of them just looked at me like they didn't know what to say.

Bc those guys can get those same shots later in the shot clock. Any possession that we don't try to get Ant, Kyle, or Seth a look is a wasted possession. This is my opinion, only tho. I just think anytime we're in the halfcourt it's important to try to involve those guys. There were a couple times I wish Bake would have showed more iniatitive, but him being hesitant early in the possession isn't necessarily a bad thing. That would have played right into VMI's strategy to not guard them. I got bad news, Brolin can't score. He just can't right now. Stephene I don't have an opinion on. Immensely talented with the basketball, but no basketball IQ. Spencer was just overmatched. Lonon and Kenon were soo much better than him and Stephene and that was a huge, huge difference.

Can I also mention that I am extremely tired of watching Seth get held on every single possession. I don't have a problem with it, bc it's going to happen, we know this. But when he's getting grabbed and held everytime he moves and we're getting called for handchecks, then I take issue with that. Not any kind of excuse, just a complaint I had.

VMI was better than us. Simple. Without Jesse they had better PG play (kenon/lonon). The twins played very well, despite foul trouble. They just out-athleted us and we didn't have an answer for their run. We were dog tired with 10:30 to play. Seth and Ant, particularly, were having to do everything offensively. They were breaking the press, getting us in our offense, and then working to try and create and get shots. Add that to the fact they were playing hard on the other end and that's just too much for them to do. Ant was a man tonight, tho. Kyle, I like him and hate him. Curry, just never was able to get involved in the 2nd half. We defended extremely well for about 24 minutes and then they got hot and we miscommunicated a couple times, mainly guys off the bench. It happens, we're young and we had some odd lineup combinations tonight, for various reasons. Best 5 minutes of offense for us were the first 5 minutes of the game. Then Jesse disappeared and it was a struggle the rest of the night. Great year. I'm excited for next year. We're going to be deeper, more athletic, and more experienced. We have enough good players on the roster and coming in to force competition. That breeds success. I like where we are headed. I'd love to sneak into the NIT or CBI, we'll see if we can.

They don't know how to win, cut them some slack. :D The Holmes twins move on, and the Keydets return to mediocrity with a thud next year.

I was ROTFLMAO at the quote during the game about how 98 percent of all VMI grads are employed within six months of graduation. Well no crap Sherlock, 90% of them go into the military, the other 10% you are either chasing off of your porch from delivering your pizza or are asking you if you would like fries with your order.

Its so true, I think they teach them that in lexington, just to be egotistic, The alumni and staff is what shocked me, come on.....Go Radford, I dont want them representing our conference, even if they won a first round game, absolutely classless......

Let me guess two things you did:

1. You used a complete sentence in the English language.

2. In said sentence, you didn't throw in a g-d, f, sob, or p word.

Just how do you expect them to communicate with you then?

Look, I generally don't have a problem with VMI. I've never had a bad experience with them. Do I hate Willie Bell? With a passion. However, most people have either been polite or just ignored me. I've never encountered the rude ones except for a couple that were completely wasted a few years back. I just thought it was funny that they didn't know how to react when someone that they just killed congratulated them. It's like the expected me to be scared of them or embarrassed and not talk to them.

One thing that really bothered me about tonights game had to do with our own school. There was a group of us, as wel as about 100 other students, who got there an hour and a half early, some of us having to skip class to get there or whatnot, waited in line, waited for an hour in the gym, just to get seats in the first 5 rows, to be loud and cheer on the team. And then, 5 minutes before tip-off, A group of the "prestige" from LU showed up, told all the students to move backj five rows and open up all 5 rows for all sorts of people who just sat there the whole night, didnt stand up or cheer once. I understand clearing the front row for JB, JF, thier families, players families and what not, but thats ubsurd, clearing out five for members of thomas road, for friends, for any one, we students who spend the little money we have to go cheer them on get pushed to the back, its has happened at other away games all year, it discourages me from going, im tired of it......plus it affects the team, it was much quieter on our side because of it, Stuck up move if you ask me....(except Dwane Carson, he came up and sat with everyone and cheered)

Simple solution, don't move. You are not on Liberty's campus, they can't tell you what to do. If Radford or Big South people told you to move, different story.

Well under 50% of graduating seniors accept commissions in the regular military; about 15% pursue military careers. VMI is in the top 1% of all schools whose alumni earn doctorates in the empirical sciences.

You really don't study very hard, do you?

haha, I wanted to, But thats the thing with our school, things are a little different, you would end up getting 30 reps and a huge fine for "direct disobediance" or some how your financial would dissapear, hah, j/k....Wish i did that, we all said that after.

Actually you're wrong on this one. Most schools take care of their boosters before they do things for their students. It's only a matter of time before they start taking the seats at the front where the students stand for donors and make us move behind them or behind the basket. It happens at every school. They're trying to run this like the big-time and unfortunately we're the group that get screwed in the process.

I think most big time school reserve thier sections, they should have sent some one early to rope it off, anything, and I can assure you, very few of the people were boosters....very few....bit like i said ill admit im just whining, got to blow steam in some direction after a loss like tonight. When does football season start?

Empirical Sciences....theory of knowledge correct? I had over 20 hours of science when a finished G-W, as a business major. As for 'studying', those days are long gone. I thought alot more Keydets went into the military full-time after graduating. Anyway, impressive nugget of info. there.;)

On a completely different subject, I was reminded how good some of the girls at Radford looked. It's like home of the push up bra.

However, at the same time, I was saddened thinking that they could very well have more diseases than an African village.

Better grab you a piece of altar boy! Leave that there lusting to us infidel Bulldogs, Keydets, etc. :D

Makes me remember road trips back in the day at G-W when we went to PC for games when we were both members of the SAC. Some lovely ladies in Clinton, SC for sure. I wonder if that is still the case.

I don't care if the rumors are true or not, it makes for fun jokes. I could care less which school really had the most STDs. Those stats don't mean crap anyways.

A good joke is a good joke.
