I haven't looked to see if this has been discussed anywhere else...but perhaps we should say a prayer for the three missing football players, who have been missing since late Saturday evening.

Very sad story.

All the money the football players had and they didn't have one of those GPS disaster devices (EPIRB) on board. That is the sad thing, they could have been alive today. The two football players took their life vests off after a couple of hours in the bay and just drifted away according to the survivor.

Keeping up with the Bucs websites that I read, there's a lot of oddities about the story the guy told... he's told two different versions of the story and people are coming up with all these theories and stories as to what really happened...

All I know is that, no matter what happened out there in the Gulf, 3 men died that should have never had to die, and that sucks. May they rest in peace...

Gotta cut the guy some slack on having multiple versions of what happened. He was in the ocean for 46 hours and that's going to affect your mental processes. He probably thinks he was rescued by these guys:

In any event, this is extremely sad especially for the parents and family members. It's hard enough losing a loved one under normal circumstances but, generally speaking, you can at least bury their body. I can't imagine what it would be like to lose someone who was literally lost.

One of the guys that was still at sea was a pretty strong Christian and active in his church in Florida. One of people that came in to speak for church planting week said the guy and his family were really involved in his church's sister church down there.
