And I read on one of the Lost sites that some people think the radio transmission from last week, when the frenchies heard the numbers, that it was Hurley saying the numbers in the transmission.
Popular belief is that Ben did get beat up while attempting to kill/injure Penny. Desmond could have broke it up...thus Ben in the shape he is. Ben was just carrying out his promise to Widmore that he would kill his daughter for what he did to Alex.
I am not convinced that Ben had anything to do with Hurley. I believe that Hurley "saw" Charlie and Charlie told him to go back to the island. Thus...he is carrying the guitar, representing Charlie on 815.
Sayid...who knows how he ended up on the plane, but he is representing Kate from 815...and the guard looks/represents Ana Lucia.
Ben comes to the flight late, just like Hurley did on 815.
Kate looks drugged up like Charlie did on 815.
Over all...an awesome episode. This season has been absolutely fantastic, and each episode gets better.
