There’s a reason why NCAA basketball heavily weighs how a team finishes it’s regular season and that’s simply it wants a team that will be clicking come tournament time. Liberty was rolling. Maine, W&M – not so much. Finishing strong should be a factor in the selection process. Obviously it’s not.
With Liberty, I saw a trip-up with Presby; with Maine, I see a pattern of losing. They showed over and over again that they could not beat a good team. That should not be rewarded. Liberty has done that and would have been a great story.
How could you not want to see what Rashad Jennings could do in the playoffs?
Why is there football in-breeding at this level?
