First off I hate cancer!!! My grandpa just passed away tonight, he lost his battle to cancer... Pray for my family espically my grandmother this is the 2nd husband that she has lost due to cancer in the last 25 years... Being away really stinks right now.. But I think God that he is in heaven and the suffering is over!!! I was able to see him two weeks ago when I took a day off to see him so I feel much better, but I got a call while I was doing the Hurricanes postgame show and was able to say goodbye on the phone and as I finished my last sentence, my aunt took the phone and told me he had past... So needless to say I am a little shaken... Thanks..

Everything went great yesterday... It's funny because typically you would hate to have a funeral in the pouring down rain, but he said earlier in the week that he hoped it rain this weekend... He was a WW2 and Korean War vet so it was really cool that Lynchburg post 16 came and gave a salute for about 15 mins... Thanks for all the thoughts, family is doing really well..
