I kid--there are some good things about the south I just dont fit in all that well. I'm a pretty typical Northeastearner-- crabby, impatient, always in a hurry, talk fast, and can be short with people etc. Everyone down south is all laid back and nice, its feels weird. I'm always like why is everyone being so nice to me, I'm not used to this.

Rankings mean about as much as me walking to class to try to lose weight after dropping 15 bucks at Taco Bell for lunch.

And they just aren't on our level... they're a Patriot League team, and while they are good in their conference against teams like themselves, they just aren't at . A loss would be DEVASTATING for us.

This is a school that does not have "Scholarships", and that holds to EXTREMELY high academic standards. They are a quality program, but this would be an epic upset for them. I hope they compete, I haven't seen a good game at the Bill yet, but I just don't see it happening.

Yes this is a big win for us as you are a highly ranked team, but calling it an epic upset in laughable. You guys are clearly the best team in the Big South, and even after the win Lafayette is by no means a lock to win the Patriot League. Colgate and Holy Cross are equally as talented as we are, and Fordham and Lehigh are no slouches.

With that being said you still have a very fine team especially on offense. Hopefully you can still make the playoffs as I think you deserve a chance.

...and I guess Harvard's level is about 28 points better than ours! Checking out the Lafayette board after the Harvard game reminds me a bit of our board after this game. Harvard outproduced the Leopards in stats and score; instead we beat you all in the categories of stats and mistakes. Great game by your team Franks; I think your coaches and players did a great job. Based on what you guys have been saying on your blog, I'm betting that all the semi-negative comments about Tavani and his typical smash mouth-no flair offense is just good disinformation!

My prediction was wrong by 27 points and I blew the att. by 1000. Just a losing effort all the way around.

No--we certainly arent a more talented team then you, I would say the talent level overall is pretty equal except for your stud RB. However we controlled the pace of the game for the bulk of the contest. You didnt lead once the whole way I believe. We made some big plays, but that is what good teams do. I completely agree with that. I posted in the predictions thread that I heard you guys were onto something there. I thought it was defense only, but you're QB proved there is more then just defense in that program. Your coach's put you guys in a position to win and you're players made the big plays...we didnt....AT ALL and that's a tough pill to swallow


but I agree with you, you guys certainly made the most out of playing a top 25 team and walked away with one of your bigger wins this season...so congrats on that

Well Coastal really seemed to having it going there for a bit, but it appears the wheels have come off. You have a very good team, but it appears the rest of the league may be holding Liberty and Coastal back a bit. Once the auto-bid is secured it should help the Chuck South and Gardner Webb's of the world improve. Stoney Brook has a lot of potential, they can build a nice program there. I have no idea how Presby will fare and VMI is VMI.

Well I wasnt even predicting a Lafayette win myself as we havent played a really good game yet this year. I thought the overall talent level was pretty similar with Liberty having a few "game breakers" that we may lack. Anyway I really think you have a very good team and deserve a chance at the playoffs even if you lose the ELon.
