I'm talking about junior baseball. I've been watching my boy play baseball for 10yrs now and have never said anything to the umps. That all changed today. One of the umps was soooo blatantly bias for the other team I couldn't take it. I let him have it! Although I didn't get tossed from the game, I let him have it again after the game was over. Good witness that was. Am I the only one this has happened to?

I am sure the umpire "had it coming." Bad officiating can make the best of Christians lose their religion in a hurry. Been there...done that...over and over again. Next time ask the plate umpire to...."Turn the plate over and read the directions"

I almost have a couple time from my brothers basketball game, one ended in parents holding myself and an official back in the hallway

I generally handle things much better than Mrs. Sly. Standing between her and an injustice to her son is next to impossible. 8)

Thankfully she never reads this place

Hades hath no fury like a baseball mom who's son has been done wrong. My life was better when my wife was ignorant about the sport...and now her little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

Boooo....come back when your tossed!!! Rookie :D

1. Been tossed from a LU game this year
2. had a few ups threaten to "take it to the parking lot after the game"
3. At a playoff baseball game the players were beating the dugout and the umpire made them stop...I was behind home plate and yelled out his name and told him he'd never make it in softball...he turned around and said Yeah I would...b/c I'd be the only one left out there! That was kinda funny

my favorite though was when I used to sit with JF at basketball games and he didnt yell to much so he'd always much me or my father to yell...I'd have bruises on me from him hitting me to yell...he almost got me kicked out of a Women's NCAA game when we were playing at ODU...man that was close

Anyone remember him going after the official after a tough loss for the womens team 2 years ago? WOW that was intense, he ripped down the white chain in front of him...and we're back in the tunnel trying to tell him its not a good idea to do it after the game, Godwin left b/c he knew was determined to talk to her (woman official, we were warned about her before the game, she had certain "habits" that goes against what he talked about everyday)....good times though good times...he left though after a little time

didnt really have to do with that, but that's one of my favorite stories
