I would have thought the complete lack of doors and safety restraints along with the golf bag in the back to be a dead giveaway but...

You would think, wouldn't you?

Speaking of golf carts like that, there used to be a family at Lakewood in Myrtle Beach that had two golf carts made to look exactly like Nascar cars. They were awesome.

What the heck is this even about?!? Sounds like you guys have some back issues you need to deal with. It may be time for a sit down. HMO has made two harmless comments trying to be funny to which some permanent wedgies took offense.

By the way, BACK TO THE CARS. On my lunch breaks many times I go to B&N to waste some time, and several times have seen some middle-aged woman there with an Acura TL Type-S. Amazing car.

I bought a 99 Honda Civic brand new and have over 140k miles on it. Have never once had a mechanical issue, even though it's been in a few accidents. It's lost a lot of power (which it never had to begin with), but these things last forever, with minimal maintenance required. And I don't know about the new ones, but they are very easy to work on yourself, parts are very accessible.

A friend of mine has this one...

20k but his place is at Palm Desert and he only visits it once or twice a year so I'm guessing he can afford it...it's still pretty sweet

That's what I need! A roll bar!

I'm serious. I have rolled a golf cart on three separate occasions.

That's awesome. Maybe we need an entire thread on pimped out golf carts. I've seen a ton.

And by the way, I've almost flipped a golf cart numerous times, but it was not on a golf course nor was I driving, um, "normal." Sand banks and golf carts don't like each other.

Gas powered or battery? I can't imagine a battery one being street legal.

Yes and yes. One I flipped while trying to do a sideways slide; one I flipped while driving normally because the geniuses at the golf course made the road a little too narrow, a little too close to the side of a hill and a little too not-level; the third one I flipped ... well, honestly, I still don't know exactly what happened. All I really remember is ending up in a low crouch on the pavement with the golf cart on its side and around me.

That one is gas but his battery powered is street legal also, out west they are a lot less strict about stuff like that. Which is why even dune buggies are considered "street legal" I get pulled over every time I take my dune buggy on the road and it is "street legal"

the battery one though is really nice made by an actual automobile company so maybe that's why it's legal

A lot of communities allow regular golf carts on the road too. That's how Myrtle Beach is pretty much everywhere.

Wait for me. I wanna be there at BWW...

Okay, I'm not trying to keep this fight going, but why do so many people on here think that just because you have a certain number of posts, you must be right about everything? I get ripped on here all the time and its because I only have a little over 100 posts. I'm sorry I have better things to do with my life than sit in my basement on flamefans all day. Just because I only have 100+ post doesn't mean I know any less about sports than someone who has, I dunno, around 16,000 posts.

It's not the amount of posts. It's the content. Until you prove you know what you're talking about and make good points on a consistent basis, you're going to get questioned. Even after you make good points on a consistent basis, you'll get questioned. That's how any discussion board anywhere is going to be. When you start off by saying Dell Curry should be an assistant and VMI is going to be good, people are going to definitely question you. I still get ridiculed for a lot of the stuff I say, as does TTL, Manson, Sch14, and numerous other people who have been here a lot longer than you.

And I love how everyone today has tried to make fun of me by exaggerating my post count and saying I have no life. This all coming after people making fun of me because I started working more and got "a life" and posted less.

Considering some of your recent posts, thats VERY debatable. Although, I agree it has little to do with your post count...

Can I vote twice? I own a Taco TRD V6 pick-up and two Accords (and used to have a 93 Accord). Toyota for trucks and Hondas for cars. There!
