I think i still have a picture of Hayes somewhere with multiple donuts in hand, a very short shirt with John stockton shorts.....all that while attempting a layup in the Vines. Ill have to try to find it.....wow that would be a great pic for all to see.......

As for the guy who hated you....he move to NC and is a youth pastor last i heard. He was doing some Hockey broadcasting or something on the side.

Secondly, i am attempting to get a show like that again.....one with a serious/hilarious side like the last one i did before. You up for a weekly segment possibly?

As far as extra credit......you always preached "dont do drugs" .....now your a dealer
And you weren't on the paying Hummer List.....cause i think i still have that data somewhere since i handled all the entries.

ROCKET, if it is the picture I THINK it is, that would actually be from a slice of PIZZA, not DONUTS!!! (Not that I am opposed to either) From the Hankinson days. That was fun, and I hope those that were in therapy have concluded it safely. If you can get that I would LOVE to have that to use as my picture thingy on the board. Also, I would love to do a weekly segment on any show you have. Count me in.

The only drink I know that is called Purple Haize is usually at a bar. Of course the only reason I know that is I had to go there to know I was against it!!!
Give Me The MIC: I actually believe that you were there that fateful nite when I DID NOT give the Amherst coach two T's. That would be YOUR mentor who almost threw him out!!! I love Amherst and they love me. YOU are just intimidated because their girls coach could BEAT YOUR BOOTY!!! She has like what 12" on you? :D

As for the extra credit, I am saddened that NO ONE has at least picked up on the most GLARING MISTAKE in the column. It is like in the first two paragraphs!!! My goodness people, I'll give you another hint: It was ALWAYS the last question on my INTRO tests. (And half the people STILL got that wrong!)

Because it is SporT Management and not SportS Management.

Thanks, I'll take, for my extra credit, a comp bottle of PROZAC

Yeh, thats it, there was always two extra credit questions Professor Hayes would give out. One was the Sport Management. I can't remember the other.

A.G Congratulations, you are correct sir!!! There is no "S" at the end!! As for the Prozac, I would recommend a newer generation product, be it Zoloft et al. I am glad to see you were paying attention to at least ONE thing that was taught in class!!! Not that I know who you are but your grade is safe.........for now.
JACK - Way to come in SECOND!!! Don't look at it as being the First loser, look at it as.........something! I don't remeber what the second question was I gave out. So if you can remember there will be free stick of deodorant in it for ya!! (Another class room fav!) But I always asked my INTRO students T or F You are taking Introduction to Sports Management.
As for YOU SuperJon - That is a common mistake made by common people. Not the CHAMPIONS for Christ at the world's most exciting University where we are changing lives one degree at a time!!!!

I trust you, AG and JACK, are doing well and using those SMGT Degrees to their utmost. IF however, you are like 80% of most college graduates you are pursuing a vocation OTHER then your chosen degree field!!!! Let me know if I can torture you with any more class memories. (Or if you just need more time to turn in the Olympic Project!)

Yea, we never really referred to it by name, mainly just RSM. I catch myself wanting to say I'm an RSM major occasionally.

Im in the 80% category. Oh man, that Olympic project. I still have bad brief flashbacks from that project. It was sport management's equivalent to that Bible 350 project that everyone complains about. I spent 3 full weekends working on that thing. I still have it as well. I heard nowadays Blosser or whoever teaches it only requires the students to focus on one year from each Olympics rather than ALL of them. Quick question Mr. Hayes, what was the unknown Olympics that you asked on your test I was never able to find the information on it.

Jack, how can you expect me to know the answers without the answer key in front of me? What am I a student? As for the "secret olympics" it was actually an Olympics that was not held at the regularly scheduled time. Think the WFL of olympics. As for the procject, that was a GREAT project. However, I did change the syllabus before I left to reflect a more intensive study of 2 winter and 2 summer olympics. Sort of a compare and contrast thing. I am glad to see that it was left in there! I always liked the project b/c I usually learned something new. I hope your therapy is going well, at least you made it through the Career Development project as well. (At least I think you did!!)
A. G. You are of my most valued former students (I guess LOL). You have grown WISE and POWERFUL in your retention of Knowledge!! Feel the Dark Side and embrace you DESTINY!!!!

Most of the people that I talked to really liked Dr. Cohu. I didn't have him for any classes but talked to him a few times in the hall or if he had a class before me in the same room.
