wow. unbelievable. "God isn't a believing, but a feeling"??? how about the "jealous God" thing? of course God is a jealous God, Okra. He doesn't want their to be any god except Him. you know... it is one of those commandments in that thing called THE TEN COMMANDMENTS. i think okra's "spirit" needs to be hit upside the head with a brick.

If you've read Tim Keller's book, "The Reason for God", you'll notice that Oprah's reasoning for rejecting God is completely ludicrous.

To say "there must not be a God, because God wouldn't be jealous", in essence, means that you are saying that God has to fit within your preconceived notions. What does that say about other cultures, those who would reject God if he weren't vengeful or jealous? What, is Oprah the center of the universe, and everything has to be cleared with her first before we can believe it?

Besides, Oprah should have known better. Her audience is filled with sappy, whiny women... which is a typical Hillary supporter.

Oprah is on now with her net/tv church of Spirituality. This movement is very scary. These people are nuts, and "weak" people are biting this like crazy!

The crazy thing about this, and all of the other ideas that "what ever you believe is okay for you" ideas is that somehow we think we get to decide who God is. If I make pancakes for breakfast, they don't get to decide who I am. Logic goes totally out the window when the idea that the created being gets to make decisions about who the creator is....and that two or more totally different ideas can all be correct.

But I guess as long as you have a good 'feeling' about it, it's all good.

Good point, the old saying 'if it feels good, do it'. Which Oprah probably grew up with, has been improvished. If it feels good, believe it.
