I always screen my calls on my cell and wait for a voicemail if I don't recognize the number. Over the past week or so I've been getting calls from a number that only has 4 digits. There's no prefix and I don't think I've ever seen that before. The number is 3230. A voicemail is never left either. Does anybody know anything about this or had this happen to them? I answered it today but there was just silence on the other end. :dontgetit

Ive heard of that and if you answer they can tap your phone and make calls from your phone and run your bill up... Watch your bill... might not be the same thing, that was a while ago

I'm not sure. It's their network. Maybe they can do anything they want. Like if you want to pay a bill they will have some wierd 4 or 5 digit number to call.

Ok, I guess it must be them then. Strange that nobody is on the line when I answer it. I've been under contract for about 6 months with them so I don't guess it's got anything to do with that.

I get calls on my home phone like everyday coming from Gainesville (the nova one) and nobody ever answers. I call it back and it's some marketing company that's trying to get you to give money to your local sheriffs office. I think they've got machines that dial numbers and the phone reps can't keep up with it.
