my brother said that he refuses to watch anymore....any show that has to do 3 or 4 mini reviews each season is too complicated to watch...

I was listening to a podcast the other day regarding Lost. They were interviewing Jorge Garcia (Hurley) He was talking about the scene in Jacob's cabin. He confirmed that it was Christian Shepherd in the rocking chair. The interesting part, is he said they also filmed Hurley sitting in the rocking chair as well, they just chose to go with Christian Shepherd. Very interesting, especially considering Hurley has never crossed paths with Christian.

He also said that the other face we see in the cabin is not Locke's. It was an actor we are not familiar with. Now...later on, they can certainly make that face be who they wanted it to be, but when watching, I was convinced it was Locke.

Looking forward to tonight!

Not sure where to start on this one.
-Clock (How much time has gone by? They keep mentioning it's only been 90-100 days. That must be important)
-Bracelet (was it the same one?)
-Ben/Sayid (where did THAT come from?)
-Ben-Passports (what was the date on them? I can't rewind or zoom in)

somebody told me that in the end, ben was wearing the same clothes as in that picture that miles was carrying. Implying that they were from the future or something. I don't know, I would have to watch it again to see for sure, but I think that is a stupid theory. He said this opened up thoughts about time travel, another dimension? dumb stuff like that. I really don't know, did anyone notice what he was wearing? I didn't. But other than that, it was a very slow episode that just freakin pssed me off at the end. Now I have to wait another week till I just get mad again.

Amazing episode. The pieces are slowly and steadily falling into place.

We know four of the Oceanic Six.
We know time appears to elapse more quickly on the Island.
This begs the question: how long have they REALLY been gone? If a few seconds account for a thirty-minute time difference, Oceanic Flight 815 may have crashed YEARS ago to the rest of the world (but probably no more than four years or so).
Is Sayid's working for Ben somehow tied to this lucrative settlement he mentioned?
These people Sayid is killing, they know and fear the Oceanic Six. At least, that guy on the golf course did.

When Ben said he had a man on their boat, I originally thought it might be Michael, but what if it's Sayid???

Issued April 2, 2003. Interesting alias.

I'm starting to think it was Ben in the casket.

Sayid is on the island right now. I'm really disappointed that they're messing around with time. It's impossible not to screw that up and contradict yourself.

-Clock (How much time has gone by? They keep mentioning it's only been 90-100 days. That must be important)

this is supporting a space time continum theory i think. i'm certain thats whats up and what they are testing.

-Bracelet (was it the same one?)

no. i dont' believe so. the HG is the guy sayid is supposed to kill. i beleive he gives it to his female employees...

-Ben/Sayid (where did THAT come from?)

i don't know but i think sayid finally realizes that ben may still be the bad guy but he's still not the baddest guy....

-Ben-Passports (what was the date on them? I can't rewind or zoom in)

not sure...i dont' know if thats significant but we do know that he's lied about not ever going off the island for sure now. it seems like he travels abroad very frequently actually....the attire was also very business like....i did notice that he looked very aged when he was talking to sayid...

this was one of my favorite episodes by far....

Are the rest of The Others still in their tents wherever they were camping? Seems odd that they're not in on any of this.

Damon [Lindelof] and I are going to try to make five more episodes before the end of May, which is ambitious. But we've found ourselves in a situation where we had eight episodes of story planned, and we're going to try to fit that into five hours of the show. Even though it's going to be very hard to execute, we felt like any less would be doing a disservice to the story we had planned. We really want to give the fans the best possible experience and ending... to Season 4.

That leaves three missing episodes that will be... lost. Although those three Season 4 episodes will be gone forever, Cuse says they remain committed to delivering the number of episodes planned. That means we'll likely see those three episodes (no longer Season 4 storyline) added to Seasons 5 and 6.

Well, Sayid is obviously trying to help Ben protect the people that are still on the island from bad guys. But how does Ben know who these guys are? Is vladamir the greatest research guy in the history of the world or what?

I still don't get the Indian Ocean v. Pacific Ocean location of the plane. I wish someone would go check the magic box again and see if anyone else appears.

I definitely agree with they are starting to push the time/space continuum on us. Started with Desmond and now we are starting to see it become more prevalent.

Ben and all the passports...Obviously he has been off the island many times. I think he has been working for someone off the island all this time. He has probably been doing this against his will, and now he is seeking his revenge. He made a deal with Sayid...now Ben having Sayid kill all the people he has worked for...Now...were they behind everything on the island...creating the fake plane crash...Mr. Widmore???

I loved this episode...but after watching it....What the crap is going on??????????????????

Exactly. Well, actually he's on the helicopter, so not exactly, but... exactly.

So... anyone wondering if Penny is on Ben's hit list?

My original thought seems to be a bit backward. The Islanders had to wait about 30 minutes before they caught up to when the freighter was when the payload hit. So that means that the Oceanic survivors may have only been gone about a month, not 90-100 days.

The big problem with that theory is that they crashed in September...Jack saw the Red Sox win the ALCS in October...so they were already there for about a month...and that was still quite a while ago (in island time).

so are you saying the island time is going by slower or faster than the rest of the world time?

i'm pretty sure the island time is slower

Yes, but what if the rift began when the hatch imploded? That would make more sense, as Desmond's transcript accurately portrayed the date Oceanic 815 crashed. Additionally, Desmond's whole Billy Pilgrim space-time jump didn't happen until immediately after the hatch implosion.

It depends on how you look at it. If you look at it from the perspective that it takes them thirty minutes to live through one of our minutes, it goes by more slowly. If you look at it from the perspective that they live through thirty minutes for each of ours, it goes by faster. In other words, they age thirty years in what to us would only be a year.

This doesn't seem to account for Walt's rapid aging, however. Quite the opposite.
