It was the guy who invented the 8 track tape and the Lear jet's daughter.

Though he could be difficult to work for, William Lear reportedly had a good sense of humor. He named his daughter Shanda ("chandelier").

So the Chrystal part seems to be made up but the Shanda seems to be true according to Wiki.
