I am sorry if you think I got a little bent out of shape in my post. I was mainly trying to be informative and explain why things are or how they are going to be. I was not upset because someone asked about game tracker. We aren't getting one in the new site.
However, there are two things I do want to clear up. First, no one in the SID department passed the buck to Kris as it was posted in this thread. You may have been joking, but if you knew how much was passed to them, you wouldn't think it funny. Also, the sports information department will talk with you anytime, so the Don't Call Me crack was out of line. Second, the attacks on the department on this site are unmerited because most of the time the person attacking doesn't even have their facts straight. It is okay to be critical and point out problems, but when you have people who are really working and making LU look good, you don't attack them which fsn backs me up on. If you have something to say fine, but most of the time it is presented in a nasty manner and is not right.
Finally, the timeliness thing, I am not defending one way. I am just telling you what direction things are going and it looks like next year, stories will not be posted until the next day. It was brought up about 90% posting for UVA, well the Liberty site for game stories is about 90% also. Football, both Basketballs, baseball, volleyball, etc. have all been posted the same day all year. The only sport that I know of that doesn't have things posted the same night is tennis and that is because either our coach or the other school when we are visitors didn't get the results to Ryan Bomberger.
Also, I was just telling why it doesn't happen. Rich Murray, the head guy at Virginia, has told me their office's policy is next day. In addition, they have six people plus a web site and publications person. So, to be honest with you, the web site is updated right now pretty much in a timely fashion.
