Speaking of that, I was at the radio station tonight (90.9 FM) working on some stuff for a radio show I do, and a player who walks in. Turns out he is in the Novice Radio class and he has a show with another guy, Brian Kennedy (color guy for baseball). Well Im working on some stuff and he is getting ready to go on the air, when Brian walks in. Well about the time Brian walks in, This player has the Liberty football schedule on the computer screen next to him. So Brian asks him. "So, what do you think about the football schedule?" What he said next is what really surprised me. He said. "There's no reason we can't go 10-1...9-2 maybe."

I was left quite dumbstruck with the bravado with which he made that statement. What about the rest of you guys. thoughts? I know we all have had some things to say about what could happen, but now that somebody that is actually on the team has said something, I thought Id pick some brains on it.

Thanks for that. It does show me something though...sounds to me like the guys (especially the veterans) are really buying into what Coach Rocco is telling them and they probably all believe that they can do great things this year (and yes Stevev I know the schedule isn't exactly screaming hardcore but I think a year of success will do these boys a lot of good)

Yes, and I will try not to hold that against Coach Rocco. As bad as LU was last year you basically have to start from square one and that might be what the intent is right now.

Well, doing all of this reading and going to practice has me buying into the hype. I'm upgrading my prediction to 8-3. I'll give us the CSU win.

I think I will go along with 8-3 although 7-4 or 9-2 would not be a suprise at all to me.

We will probably lose to W&M and Wake, and then between Coastal, Towson, and Gardner Webb we should get 2 of them
