Does anyone here believe Austin Lewis's targeting penalty was a bit over the top? The rule states that a "defenseless player hit in the neck or head by the crown of the helmet of the one delivering the hit then targeting is called." If you watch Lewis's hit then you will see that it was not near the neck or the head whatsoever. Yes, he led with his head and hit the qb square in the numbers but his head was up. Obviously yall can tell that I didn't not approve of the call, ha.
