Come on over the CN...you can stop by Tan State and we're right around the corner from there.

And try swinging by my office again on the 3rd floor, now that you know where it is. I should be in most of the afternoon.

I got gas in Buena Vista tonight for $2.29. I had just under a quarter of a tank. After getting 9.56 gallons I paid $22. That felt good.

What also feels good is how much gas has dropped since this thread started 13 days ago, with it being 2.99 a gallon. By the time thanksgiving break rolls around, im hoping it will be at 2.29 everywhere.

Coming down from chicago to school begining of year cost me about $220

At 2.30 a gallon, going home and back will cost me about $240

Incredible

I paid $2.27/gal. to fill Mrs. 01's car tonight. Funny how $25 for a tank seems really cheap.

Anybody wonder if the media will pull out the video clip from this summer of Obama demanding that we open up the strategic oil reserves to lower gas prices? I didn't think so.

Those are actually averages for the whole state. I wish we had $2.42 gas in Lynchburg. This town is ridiculous.

I know, it doesnt make any sense. You look at the counties around us, they are all a good 10 cents cheaper. Whats the difference?

Same with the states bordering illinois, huge difference just because its illinois.

Still milking the supposed gas shortage for all its worth. I saw $1.99 in Richmond, provided you get your car washed as well...without the washing, it was $2.17.

I paid $2.58 here last night at the cheapest place in town. Prices look like they dropped a little further today according to GasBuddy.

Just saw gas for $1.97. I hadn't been watching it for the past week. I thought it was a mistake at first.

It's been under a dollar for over a week. Currently, $1.83. That is less than half of what I paid on a cross country trek in June.

ahh but about a week ago Lynchburg was about 20-30 cents higher than any place else regionally and probably 50+ center higher than Oklahoma. Big Horn Market was at 2.26 yesterday afternoon and is 1.97 today. I think the area just decided to let go of their "gas shortage" excuse.
