Great non-conference win for the Mountaineers.

UCLA playing without starting guard and leading scorer (?). Not real suprising considering. But, none the less, good game for the WVU guys.

Darren Collison is UCLA's 3rd leading scorer not their leading scorer...and I know it's not nearly as big of a loss, but WVU did have two key reserves injured...one of WVU's seldom used walk-ons just happen to come into the game the 2nd half and hit 5 quick points to give WVU a nice lead. Coach Beilien literally finds a way to get the best out of every single player on his roster. He's one of the best coaches in basketball.
